Sakura: More Amazing Than Naruto and Sasuke

Naruto and Sasuke are two of the greatest ninja the world has ever seen. They were able to save the world from destruction and fought one of the most meaningful battles ever. Afterwards Naruto went on to become Hokage while Sasuke wanders the world putting an end to unspeakable evils. Even when young they were acknowledged because of their great talents. But, what if I told you the greatest ninja from Team 7 wasn't Naruto, it wasn't Sasuke. It wasn't even Sai. What if I told you the greatest ninja from Team 7 was Sakura? Would you believe me? Probably not, but let's look at things in perspective.

From birth Naruto was gifted with a near infinite supply of chakra. His technique may not have been the most skilled, but it would be the most powerful. Even from the start, before he mastered shadow clones he could summon a near limitless army of them. Then there's Sasuke. He has access to the Sharingan. He can replicate any technique perfectly after seeing it once. Even before awakening it he was an Uchiha skilled in numerous techniques before entering the academy.

Sakura was born with no such gifts. She does not have any great levels of chakra. She wasn't trained from day one to be a legendary ninja. She doesn't have any hereditary attributes. She doesn't even have ninja parents. She entered the academy at a disadvantage. Even Kiba's parents were ninjas, Ten Ten's unnamed parents were ninjas. Sakura, had none of those advantages.

There is nothing Sakura takes for granted. All the way back at the start Kakashi explained to Team 7 how to channel chakra in their feet to climb trees or walk on water, Naruto and Sasuke blew him off. They both assumed they would do it with ease. They didn't. Instead Sakura who made sure to listen, focused her chakra and did it with ease.

People often talk about how hard Naruto works. But, Sakura worked just as hard, if not harder to reach her final power level. We saw Naruto make contracts with the toads. We saw Sasuke meeting with Orochimaru. We didn't see any of Sakura's training so people assume there was none. She made contracts with slugs, she trained under Tsunade. She trained in hospitals. She spent hours reading over notes on medical procedures and honing her chakra. We never saw it but Sakura was putting in work every day. Just because it wasn't seen, doesn't mean she wasn't working.

We don't see Sakura fight often. We did see her fight Sasori and despite people overlooking this, she still has a win over an Akatsuki member. That's something not a lot of people can claim. Might Guy was beaten, Asuma, and even Kakashi needed extensive help. Sakura and an old lady took out one of the most dangerous ninjas in the world to no applause.

Sakura is not as strong as Naruto and Sasuke, but consider this. When all the cards were on the table, Kakashi was down, Rock Lee was down, Might Guy was down, Orochimaru was out, Tsunade was cut in half, Garra was out. Who was able to stand next to Naruto and Sasuke? Only Sakura. She had worked her ass off and stood next to them when nobody else could stand, not because she was carried there. But, because she fought to get there just as hard as anyone else.
