Poem: Wai by Garser Dismuke

I put on socks today. Greased my legs with a shiny coat so I can wear those short yet tight shorts. I lay in bed waiting for you to call. Popping imaginary bubbles in the sky. They splash on me like you should. Hours go by without a ring and now it's dark. There's a lump in my bed now. Guess that’s a date then.
