Jo Jo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders Review - Part 2

If you haven’t read my previous Jo Jo’s Bizarre Adventure articles please do so if you’re not familiar with the series and do so anyway because I put effort into those pieces. You can check those out here:

So Joseph and Jotaro set out on an adventure to find and kill Dio. Joseph would enlist the help of Advol on this journey. As the arc continued Kakyoin, Polnareff, and Iggy (Iggy is a dog that has stand abilities) joined the Joestar squad to lend a hand (each character had their reason for helping the Joestars) to the cause of killing Dio.

From that point on, the arc got really good. LIKE REALLY GOOD! Let me tell you that all of them had to travel across the world to get to Egypt just to fight Dio. While doing this they were fighting Dio’s army of stand users. Each fight was entertaining and interesting in its own aspect. There were all types of stand users ranging from human stand users, animal stand users, and a sword that was a stand. Even a baby (yes a baby) had a stand that could kill you in your dreams. Wild stuff man…

Through all of that we make it to Jotaro vs. Dio (which was an amazing fight). Dio looked like a super saiyan version of Hisoka (Watch Dragon Ball Z and Hunter X Hunter if you don’t get the reference). Dio finally is defeated and killed. Holly’s health is back to normal. Will Dio still have an effect on the series? Honestly I have no clue since I haven’t read the other parts of Jo Jo’s Bizarre Adventure.

RIP to Iggy, Advol, and Kakyoin. I like how Araki isn’t afraid to kill off main characters, I think that’s nice. Also the animation is beautiful and you should watch the series in HD because standard quality doesn’t do the series justice. Overall Stardust Crusaders is pretty damn good. Hopefully part four of Jo Jo’s Bizarre Adventure (Diamond is Unbreakable) is animated.

If you haven’t watched or read the series, go do so. I mean it. Go check Jo Jo’s Bizarre Adventure out!
