Gin No Guardian Episode 1 Review: Trash

The episode starts off in the present time with some random girls talking the school they attend being built on a graveyard. Then some pink haired women tells them to go to sleep so she can cut a monologue about being lonely. Next we have a fight scene of Riku Suigin fighting an army of undead but it wasn't really entertaining. In my opinion, the reason I didn't care for it was because it happened at random and He was easily killing them. These undead put up no fight against, all they had was a number game strategy.

A year prior to this, Riku used to clean pools and almost drowned saving his cat that some random dude threw into the pool. He was saved by the pink haired chick that the random guy was looking for. The pink haired girl is none other than Riku Rei, the daughter of a millionaire. I don't understand why these two characters have half the same name. I also don't understand why she kissed him under water. How sway?

Now back to present time and he's still fighting the undead. No matter what they do, he easily finds a way to kill them. He said before the fight that he does this every night so its no surprise that I don't care for this interaction. Then the episode ends. This anime is only 10 minutes long. I don't see this show being anything spectacular. As of right now its a heaping pile of "what the fuck".  The opening and ending tracks were indeed good. Other than that there is nothing special about it.
