It has been reported by several news outlets that the 3 original Kara members left in the group have terminated their contract with DSP Media. This means that Kara as we know it has disbanded. Nicole and Jiyoung left the group in 2013 and new member Youngji joined in 2014. Now that the last original members have supposedly left the group, what does this mean for Kara?
Will DSP Media add new members to the group and create a "New Age" Kara? I hope not. Adding Youngji to the group was already a slap in the face. Making a whole new lineup would diminish the Kara legacy. But now that Seunyeon, Gyuri and Hara have left, what is in store for them? Hara recently debuted as a solo artist and Gyuri has been rumored for the lead part in an upcoming movie. It is possible that they will all go their separate ways as artist and celebrities.
A dream come true would be the 3 of them signing to the same label as Nicole and releasing one last album with or without her. Honestly I can make a lot of predictions but maybe its time for Kara to disband or do separate activities for a while. 2016 would make Kara 10 years old as a group. As a proud Kamilia I just want the girls to be happy in their future endeavors no matter what it might be. But I would love another Kara album as well as another Hara solo album.
