Dance in the Vampire Bund Volume 5 & 6 Review: Queen in Peril

Volume 5 was just pure epicness. Akira has to fight the last remaining Assassins while trying to find his way through the Vampire Bund. He seeks help from some unlikely friends. turns out there are Vampires who don't want to drink blood and hurt humans. They are known as the Fangless. I told people not all Vampires are bad. There are some who want to live with humans. Remember this because this comes back in volumes 12 through 14. Is that foreshadowing I smell? This dude Ivanovic is a sneaky bastard. Trying to inject is men into the Princess. He must have lost his mind. Speaking of conniving bastards, Hamaseiji was apart Rozenmann's army the entire time. Just when you think you know a guy who treated your wounds and gave you food. What is the world coming to when you can get a free meal from a stranger and they not turn on you to kill you and rape a child vampire Princess. But what really is Hama. I don't think or remember they ever explained what he is. But the underground city is amazing.Trees, light, food, its as if we are in another world under Japan. Pay attention. There is a reason this was built and the first part ended without a real explanation. So the fight continues and man does things get worse for Akira. At least Hama did help him fight the brothers but during Akira got stabbed 12 times and had his left arm blown off. This was awesome. And he still had to fight Hama. How he won I will never know but this was great. This was a really good album that put the # Kings to shame and sent them packing back to their homes. We won't be seeing them for a while.

Just when you think times are beginning to calm down now that Akira is safe and Mina has gotten rid of the 3 Kings, an unknown virus hits. this virus attacks Hime in a rather crucial moment because she was just beginning to become friends with Yuki. They were having a sleepover and doing girly things when it happened. I kinda wish I was there, Just to smell Yuki's natural scent. I'm getting off topic now. But before we get into that talk. Hama seems to be making a name for himself with the Queen and Beowulf. During his interrogation we pretty much learn everything about his mission and why he did it. He actually turns out to be a pretty good character. But he gets better later on. Out Empire just keeps getting better by the day. We get a glimpse at Akira's mother and boi is she fine? Akira's old friend shows up who took the right of passage exam with him years ago. Do not ask me what Angie is. I know the answer but it took me 8 volumes to finally come up with the answer and even then it just pisses me off. So just go ahead and continue reading. So these nano machines also known as the Pied Piper are affecting not only the Princess but half of the Bund. Someone is trying to takeover the Bund and Japan's vampires by controlling them from the inside out. The story is slowly shifting into a major story line. This was nothing but the precursor. I'm going to finish this now because I don't want to spoil anything in the future. I'll see you guys for the next review.
