Music Man Recommendations #2: CREAM

One day I was listening to music and I noticed that I didn't listen to much Japanese music as I did in 2010. Or that a majority of the artist I listened didn't have an album out yet. So I decided to look up Japanese rappers because I didn't know many. I came across what is known as CREAM. CREAM is a Japanese duo consisting of Staxx T and Minami. Minami does the singing and Staxx does the rapping. Their songs are always English and Japanese since Staxx and speak and write fluent English. So I go on YouTube and the first song I heard was Once Upon a Time. To me the song was decent so I kept listening to other songs. I came across KISSING and I knew from then on that I would love them. The beat, lyrics, ans everything about it screams a great summer hit. The album in which this song was released on DREAMIN, came out in early 2013. I listen to this song everyday.

The style of CREAM is very diverse. Some songs like Kissing and DREAMIN are rap and hip hop, songs like Beautiful and Nightmare are R&B ballads, and Party Chakka Men, and Hurry Up are dance and club hits. So basically what I'm saying is that CREAM can go in on any song. A Majority of their songs are summer and club hits meaning you can blast them forever. CREAM is relatively new and they only have two albums. Their latest album #nobody came out earlier this year on April 30th, aka my birthday. Now that you know My birthday you can but me tickets to Japan and South Korea next year. Or you can buy me tickets now because the 2NE1 and Namie Amuro concert are taking over the summer. So my question is Tickets or nah? But no seriously Minami is hot ans can sing and Staxx can write and rap. Their mixed flow is something you should really try. If you don't want to blast some great music this some summer than go ahead and be a square. I'll ride past you in my 1997 Oldsmobile playing Party Chakka Men and Just Like You.
