Yes I can kiss you tonight Ms. Amuro. I would love to kiss you every night. But no seriously to the actual review. I was happy when I saw this music video on her Youtube channel. When I heard of Can You Celebrate getting basically a revamp I was kinda excited. I wasn't really thinking of anything new but just a more modern or new version in all. So the video starts and I instantly "She's so beautiful". The grey coloring with the white dress was gorgeous. I was expecting the the video to change up from her standing still and singing but that really didn't happen. As the video progressed the only thing that changed was the incoming of the smoke and the lights towards the end. Pretty much nothing at all.
The original video was way better because she actually moved around and there was an actual story. I don't know how this was supposed to be new because it wasn't. This video just like the Alive video could have been way better. I don't understand how the Neon Light Lipstick video trumps one her best songs her. Don't get me wrong I like Neon Light Lipstick but Can You Celebrate is better so therefore it deserved a better remake for the video. Moving on to the song. I'm really loving this song. That violin killed my hears with greatness. I'm really loving this new version. At the moment I'm going to put it on the same level as the original but I'm sure over time it could get better to me. Overall the video as a whole gets a 7 out of 10 because of the actual song and the beautiful Namie Amuro. I wish it was better but it wasn't so that's that. I can't wait for the Four Seasons and Himewari music videos. I know those are going to be good. Until then listen to J Pop and K Pop because it better than American Pop.
