The chapter starts with Cusack pissed that he can't protect Zeldoris which is weird because None of the sons of the Demon King need protecting. Also, I wonder who Estarossa's retainer/trainer is. Chandler and Cusack don't seem to to care for him at all. Meliodas and Elizabeth are having a heartfelt moment about what they should do. I myself have run down all possible situations of how the two could end up together but there is no way. Either the two continue their infinite love for each other or they drift apart with one dying and the other losing their memories. Or Meliodas could become the Demon King as Elizabeth becomes the new Goddess but neither one would be able to live on Earth. It truly is a sad parting the two must partake in.
When Meliodas tells Elizabeth that he always loved her but now he feels nothing, I was saddened. He's doing all of this fighting for her sake but he doesn't have his emotions anymore. Even if Ban were to get his emotions back, whose to say that Meliodas and Elizabeth were able to be together. After giving him a super Goddess slap, Elizabeth runs away which may lead to Meliodas fighting Chandler over her.
To end the chapter we find out that Merlin is in fact the daughter of The Demon King and The Angel Goddess. Merlin truly does have a crazy past. With the Goddess being resurrected I wonder what will happen to Merlin. There are so many factors going into this upcoming final battle and its hard to see any of the Sins living except for King, Diane and Escanor. Merlin has to play a key role here and maybe sacrificing herself is one. We don't know the full story so next chapter will have to give us more details. This entire arc has been great with back and forth fighting as well as great storytelling. As readers we truly have no clue as to what's going to happen next and that's a good thing. It keeps us on our toes.
This was a solid chapter. Much was revealed here like Meliodas being half sibling with Merlin and the bond between Meliodas and Elizabeth seems to be breaking faster. What does Merlin plan to do with Zeldoris. I doubt he'll simply take Merascula and leave with put taking anybody else with him. Once Zeldoris takes Mera's Commandment, that means Elaine dies before Ban can come back. So much heartbreak will befall our heroes and I'm not ready for any of that.
