Do you know what it means to be the Beyonce of your group? It means that you stand out more than the other members. You're the real star of the group. Look at your coworkers, you might be Beyonce too. Justin Timberlake is the Beyonce of his group. Superheroes can be Beyonce too. I sat down and made a list of heroes who are the Beyonce of their group. Because, I like lists.
Iron Man - The Avengers (MCU)
You can't really pick one Avenger in the comics because there's 40 different Avengers teams at any given moment. Maybe Iron Man leads one, but Sam Wilson leads the other and Luke Cage has one. It never stops. When it comes to the films, there's only one team. Iron Man leads that team, even in Civil War which was supposed to be a Captain America movie. Iron Man show sup in everyone's movie. He's got plenty of solos and he'll show up where no other avengers can go.
Superman - Justice League
I know you think it should be Batman, but no. Batman is Kelly and that's okay. Superman is the Beyonce because he's the main guy. The stories usually hinge on Superman. Superman is the most popular hero in the world. Batman is popular and his fans can be rabid but Superman is the star. Nobody is sweating a guy in a batsuit. Superman flies down and everyone knows something is about to go down.
Wolverine - X Men
I wanted to say Cyclops because he's always the leader, but think for a second. Cyclops doesn't have solo stories. Cyclops isn't an Avenger. There's no Old Man Cyclops. Make no mistake Wolverine Origins was horrible, but where's Cyclops Origins? Wolverine is the clear stand out. He's been drawn into every event for the past two decades somehow.
Robin - Teen Titans
It doesn't really matter which Robin. Robin is always the star. Dick was the original leader. Tim created his own team to lead as Red Robin. Damian now has created his own team to tackle even bigger challenges. Even Jason led the team when he was Robin. The Teen Titans will always have a Robin in front just like no matter how many line ups of Destiny Child they went through, Beyonce was always in front.
Johnny Storm - Fantastic 4
I mean, we don't have a choice here. When Marvel killed the Fantastic 4 comics because they were unjustly mad at Fox a lot happened. Reed and Sue are trapped in editor limbo. Ben got a nine to five with shield and Johnny dated the queen of the Inhumans. I mean, he won. There's no one else who could compare.
