Solomon Prey

Solomon Prey was born in Wakanda and displayed genius level intellect from a young age. As a teenager he was one of the few people allowed to leave Wakanda at the time. He traveled to the United States to study at Harvard, he later claimed to have majored in The Three Stooges, as they kept him from being bored. While in America he chose to legally change his first name to Solomon, as in the wisdom of Solomon. He believed himself to be one of the smartest people in the world and that an education was only there to prove it, as it wasn't necessary. He was correct, he was a genius but more than that, he was a master manipulator.

When he returned to Wakanda he became acquainted with a woman named Tanzika who wanted revenge on Black Panther for a previous defeat she faced. The two fell into an on and off again relationship. Together they began drug trafficking in Wakanda, the first time this ever happened. Not to become rich, but to get under T'Challa's skin by destroying the population of Wakanda with their own personal choices.

The two built a small criminal empire and began plotting to take the throne from T'Challa. Prey along with the scientist he hired to work under him learned to control the pterandon dinosaurs that were located in Wakanda's Valley of The Serpent. The next step he did was have an old friend, Dr. Kaza infuse him with pteradon DNA that would allow him to sprout claws and wings at will. However it required a sonar pulse that would cause his body to produce more adrenaline which would allow them to be used.

Prey came up with a steroid regimen that grew his claws and wings larger and allowed them to grow through the skin. This was a painful process as they had to rip through his skin. His pride caused him to refuse pain medications or procedures to simply remove the skin, allowing the wings to sprout.

A young boy named Kantu had helped T'Challa in the past, had become one of Wakanda's drug addicts. Prey had his men beat the boy and present him so that T'Challa became aware of them and the drug trade. Feeling that he had disappointed T'Challa, Kantu committed suicide via drug overdose in jail.

Prey caught Black Panther off guard and defeated him but let him live to demonstrate his power. When T'Challa left for the United States again Prey planted bombs in the vibranium mines hoping destroy T'Challa's last advantage over him. Prey soon followed to the United States and attempted to purchase vibranium from a black market dealer. T'Challa attempted to stop this but Prey managed to bury him alive and escape.

Once everyone was back in Wakanda, Prey, Tanzika and their followers attacked the central city. Prey gave Tanzika the detonator knowing she would set off the bombs no matter what. However T'Challa managed to snatch it from her and destroy it. The fight between Prey and T'Challa was evenly matched but one of Prey's henchmen attempted to help in the fight. However he lost control of his pteranodon and it ripped off one of Prey's wings. This caused Prey to pass out from pain and fall off a cliff to his death.
