If you don't know who Yoon Mirae or Tasha is, you have to kill yourself. But no seriously, she is the Queen of Korean Hip Hop. She has releaased 5 albums as a solo artist and one with her husband Tiger Jk and fellow member Bizzy as MFBTY. Like I said, Mirae is a goddess. Today I'm taking you back to some or her best songs as well as my faves.
Combination Platter: This song right here gets me hype every time. When I hear it I want to go to the club and just tear up the dance floor. Mirae's tight rapping and DJ HanSaBe's amaing skills bring us this great club banger. You won't be able to not move while you listen to it.
Meditaion: This right here is one of my favorite songs by her. Its from her second album Gemini. Meditation is about the struggles that people face on a regular such as being poor and living with a diesease that will strip your life away. Not only is it a great song but it speaks about these situations that no one wants to live through, Her rapping is amzing and is toped by her great lyrics. Even though it isn't a banger like Combination Platter, I listen to it on a regular.
As Time Goes By: This song os the title song from her first album As Time Goes By. Her first album was primarily R&B with less rapping and lots of singing compared to her later albums. Its also my favorite. But the English version of this song is amazing. I get emotional and sing along with her everytime because its on infinite repeat. I only chose the English version because I know all the lyrics to it but I prmoise both versions are amazing.
Old School Love: This song is also from her first album. Its bout the feelings one whould have like the couples of the older days. Tasha sings until the end where she delivers a hot verse about a couple promising to be together forever no matter what. The beat is pretty nice and when the rapping ensues it picks up and you can really feel it.
To My Love: Yoon Mirae is respected as the greatest Female Rapper in Korea but her singing is just as great, if not better. To My Love is a ballad song from her 4th album of the same name. From the very first seconds you fall in love and when she starts singing you are hooked. This is definitely one of her best songs to date.
