DANGANRONPA NEWS FOLKS! On December 2nd, 2015, we got more news about Danganronpa 3. There’s going to be a new anime and we got a real trailer for the game. We got a teaser for Danganronpa 3 at the Tokyo Game Show and now a full trailer titled: New Danganronpa V3: Everyone's New Semester of Killing. The 2016 anime will be called Danganronpa 3 -The End of Hope's Peak Academy.
There still isn’t MUCH information but we can talk about what we do know and speculate. The anime will be the final installment of the first three games, bringing that “arc” to an end. We see Aoi Asahina, Kyoko Kirigiri and Makoto Naegi in the promotional picture with Naegi in handcuffs. We also get a sketch of Yasuhiro Hagakure. Those 4 are some of the few characters that survived the School Life of Mutual Killing of Class 78. We know Naegi was having some doubts about Future Foundation on top of that, the characters looks older, more mature. Possible time skip confirmed? I’m looking forward to seeing how they wrap up that part of the story and I’m hoping to see characters from Super Danganronpa 2 and Ultra Despair Girls along with Danganronpa 1.
As for the game, I can’t really say I understand what’s going but the three characters they revealed look cool. The girl with the mole, the dude with the cool hair and the mecha guy who’s teched out. They announced that the use of bluffing or lying will be implemented in the Class Trials but how they work, we do not yet know. It seems this game will feature new characters and be the start of a new chapter for the game. It will be released in Japan in 2016 for PS4 and Vita, no words of a North American release of yet.
