People act like Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim are the first women to ever have rap beef and that can't be further from the truth. As long as women have been rapping there has been rap beef. Some women made the mistake of thinking sex appeal would carry them through the beef. I'm not saying any names Foxy Brown, I'm just telling the truth. They soon realized other women did not give a damn about how sexy you think you are.Women like MC Lyte, Trina and Jacki O were quick to give 48 bars of hot fire. Men weren't immune to these disses either and were just as likely to end up flatlined after a hard verse as other women. So today we pay homage to 5 of the hardest diss tracks from women. Excluding the Queen Latifah tracks already covered.
Choice - The Big Payback
"Eazy E you sound just like a chick, you even look like one with your short with short fat rump. A little makeup here and there, you'd be a cute punk" Well, to quote Eazy E "E-A-Z-Y comma now that's drama"
"Jerri curls stepped out in 79 your Negros with activators are next in line" finally somebody said it.
"Ice Cube, I'd have you melting in my mouth sucka," well, that wasn't really a diss "If women are tramps and what you say is true, then the one that had you must be a tramp too" She wanna talk about mommas.
"Yellaboy, you thought I'd let you slide? Another perpetrating sucker, you and Dre stick together like you're humping each other" This is great. It was right after she made fun of Dr. Dre for the lipstick and garter belts in World Class Wrecking Cru, then she brought up DJ Yella was also in that group. Dre and Yella do stick together.
"Where did you get the goofey midget? Fantasy Island" Yes, she just compared Bushwick Bill to Tattoo. Yes, he was the only goofball in the group. Scarface and Willie D were pro-black while Scarface advocated for Mental Illness and Willie D for education. Bill was just Bill.
"I see you talking around town about how bald head girls ain't nice, when your momma can't even roll her hair with rice" Did she have to do Willie D momma like that?
"7 women are you joking? What the hell are you smoking? You look like Chester the child molester. Boy you couldn't get a last chance date with your aunt Esther." Willie D just, go home. It's a bad day.
"Ugly old thug, you got a head like a koolaid jug" what is going on with Too Short's head?
"You gotta be tripping or smoking that snow, your eight years on the mic sound like zero" she talked about Too Short's teeth and face and how Freaky Tales was a lie but this line got to him. At the time Short had been bragging about the longevity of his career. This line hurt so much he addressed on the song "Life Is (Too Short) where he states "Eight years on the mic and I'm not joking" and on the song "I ain't Trippin" he states "Your sister's boyfriend told you I'm smoking every night, then you came to my show, and stood there so damn bold, you said, "Too $hort, man, you smoking" and I'm standing here dreamin' gold I ain't trippin' no more, really ain't worth my time."
Yeah, she got you Short.
Khia - Hit Her Up
There's some beef going around the south. Khia said it was because she didn't like Jacki O and Trina calling themselves Queens of The South and leaving her. Trina said it was because Khia was jealous that she dated Lil Wayne for a few weeks. That seems like it's the case based on some of Khia's lyrics. Jacki O was just caught up in it for no reason. If you don't remember Khia, "My neck, my back"
Well she borrowed the 2 Pac beat for "Hit Em Up," and dropped a diss aimed at Trina and Jacki O. Let's look at some of the lyrics.
"Now hoe what you gonna name your baby? Baby? Man I love ya Lil Weezy, but dat aint your baby!" Yeah, Trina has one kid. She was with Wayne for a few months and didn't get pregnant. What is she talking about?
"Lil Weezy tighten up boy I'll Have your baby" see, this is why everyone thinks you're jealous of Trina.
"Now all this talk bout Jacki O bein the queen of the south, yea you a queen, a drag queen." Yeah, this was the basis of her whole diss to Jacki O.
"Bitch learn my name," this is petty. You're mad because she didn't know you?
"Deformed bitch, tighten up! How many records you sold? Is you a man or a woman? How many niggas you fooled? Transvestite-lookin' bitch gets no repect in the hood." Why do you want her to be transgender or a drag queen so bad? Does it matter how many records she sold? We only know you from one song.
Then she goes on to make fun of Jacki O for being dark skinned, but Khia is darker than Jacki O? That's some real self hate. This whole track made you look petty. I only included this song in the list to give some context for the next track.
Trina - What's Beef
Trina does not play around, she's going after ex boyfriend Lil Wayne, Khia, Gillie the Crackrock Kid and Birdamn. Anybody that mentioned her in a negative light was getting called out. Lets look at what are probably the coldest lyrics on this list.
"What's beef? Beef is when a bitch titties looking like they sleep," that's when you knew it was gonna be cold. She went straight for the saggy pancake Khia titties.
"Beef is when her clothes looking like dirty sheets, beef is when I help you sell the records just like I do, now that's beef" Khia did wear some Kanye West fashion line stuff and Trina is a multi-platinum selling artist with none of her label albums selling below 400000 and her only independent album debuted at number 1 and remained top 10 for another 5 weeks. Khia peaked at number 42 and never dropped another album.
"Beef is when they fame only last a few weeks," where you at Khia?
"You see the problem is I used to like Khia til you started, jumping on the dick with Trick and doing all of my leftover shit," Khia did indeed start dating Trick Daddy long after Trina dumped him. She then tried to hook up with Lil Wayne after Trina was done. Khia did become the woman on Trick Daddy tracks when Trina wouldn't do them. Khia tried to fill in as Trina in life and music. In other words "You get the leftover hits, bitch get on the bandwagon or get left over bitch."
"Slay titties having, fake Lauryn Hill ass bitch, moved to Georgia cause in Florida, you wasn't hitting on shit" Khia had to move to Atlanta to make it. She couldn't make it in Florida because everyone called her out for copying Trina.
"you's a mess ho, that's why they cut you out your own video, you dissin for promo and dissing me is a no-no," she really is in the video for that "my neck, my back" less than the extras. They even spent a good portion of her verses filming some guy grilling. Also Khia is an alcoholic.
"Some pussy ass niggas with my name in they tracks, saying (Trina fucked Biggie now she fucked Lil Wayne)" Yeah, Wayne was the bitter ex. He started dissing Trina all over songs. But, Trina got something for him.
"You wouldn't do that to a nigga so why you do it to me?" In other words Lil Wayne wouldn't diss another man because he's afraid of repercussions. So why would he diss Trina?
"You sounding like a hoe nigga, is that why you slandering T?" That's why, because Lil Wayne is a hoe.
"What about the waterboy, kid the silly, last I heard you ain't even from Philly, so nigga keep the bench warm and let the players handle this shit, cause you just dissin for a deal" Gillie The Kid was a Lil Wayne side kick with a crack habit. He dissed anyone Lil Wayne did but got quiet when Cassidy told everyone he was a crackhead. Then he got dropped from Cash Money and claimed he was Wayne's ghost writer. He's never released an album on a major label. Like Trina said, he's a bench warmer doing anything for a deal.

Jacki O - TKO
Foxy Brown can't ever get a win because she's always talking crazy. In this case she was talking crazy about a rapper known as Jacki O. Well, Jacki don't play that dissing for attention stuff. So Jacki O just beat up Foxy Brown and then released a song bragging about it. Yeah, it's real in these streets. Lyrics.
"I damn near gave ya classless ass a asthma attack, smacked you down and kicked ya in ya assless ass" She really just gonna rap about beating you up.
"How you got another deal, when yo lyrics aint real, whoever ghost-writin needa help you write ya will," Foxy always gets called out on this. You can't be dissing when you don't write your own lyrics. But, write a will because your career is dead.
"BROOOOKLYN, you deserve better than a bitch on Prozac," She did Foxy's Brooklyn yell and then made fun of Foxy's multiple rage outbursts.
"If Kurupt gave a fuck about a bitch you wouldn't hate him," yeah, she's mad Kurupt wouldn't take her back. Yeah, Kurupt was petty for all those disses but he came out of the split way better than Foxy.
"You walk around frustrated hoe, cuz you aint Kim," because Foxy did beef with Lil Kim. She lost that one too.
"You're intimidated in your interviews, go ahead and tell them how linoleum tasted," salt in the wounds.
"I aint squashin no beef bitch I seek justice," she's Batwoman.
"You see this all started because of your ego and disrespect," true, Foxy thinks every female rapper should pay homage to her but she's far from the best and unlike Trina, Kim, Jacki, Nicki and others, it's a well known fact that she doesn't write her own lyrics.
Nicki Minaj - Did It On Em
She didn't even say Lil Kim's name. But, we all know damn well it was about Lil Kim based on all the references. It was the Queen Latifah method. Don't say the name, but everyone knows who you're talking about. I admit, I love this song and I always crack up when the Safaree starts yelling about throwing perms. Alright, let's check the lyrics.
"I just signed a couple deals I might break you off," Lil Kim, she said you broke.
"And we ain't making up I don't need a mediator, just let them bums blow steam - radiator" She has no intentions of ending the beef with Kim.
"You crazy, stupid, ugly, monkey-looking bitches" Safaree bringing the funny adlibs
"These little nappy headed hoes need a perminator," that's just petty Nicki
"Move back bugs matter fact you know the queen could use a back rub," Lil Kim, Queen Bee, bees are bugs.
"If you could turn back time - Cher, you used to be here but now you gone - Nair" That one might actually hurt.
"I'mma start throwing Just for Me Perm at your heads" Safaree isn't allowed to do adlibs anymore.
Lil Kim - Black Friday
A lot of people think Lil Kim is just bitter and her claims aren't legit. Truth is, Kim is right. Nicki didn't just bite her style, but her album covers too and even her lyrics on some tracks. When asked about Lil Kim as an influence she would pretend she didn't know who Kim was. Then when Kim started firing back at Nicki, she pointed out Kim hadn't released music for almost three years. She made references to past beefs, majority of which were legit (sorry Faith Evans.) Don't believe me? Here's some clips, notice this is pre record deal and pre Barbie. Not just Kim either, but rappers like Foxy Brown, and Remy Ma too, who were locked up at the time. She played innocent as if she didn't actually start all of this by dissing Kim, Foxy, Remmy and others. Nicki Minaj actually started this beef shortly before she signed her record deal. She boldly stated she was gonna snatch the crown from Kim on tracks like this one.
All we hear from is usually Nicki fans. Kim's fans. Lil Kim's fans are around Lil Kim's age. Mid thirties to early forties. They aren't going to argue on the internet about who won the beef and some are probably unaware of who Nicki Minaj is or tell their children that Lil Kim already did it. Kim may sound petty, Foxy may sound petty, Remy Ma may sound petty, but all three of them have very legit beefs and Kim even tried to keep it cordial and let things slide. Nicki, you aren't innocent in all this. You made a career from beefing.
The track I want to look at from Kim is called Black Friday and it's actually a reworked version of the beat from "Did It On Em." So let's check the lyrics.
"Alright you Little Kim clone clown, All this buffoonery, this shit stops now" She actually has admitted she looked up to Lil Kim and Kim has done everything Nicki has except the TV show and I don't know if Nicki did movies or runway modeling. Just saying. It's not hating if it's accurate.
"We all know your last name is what got you your job," That was just funny. Maybe there's some truth to it. Don't know. Nicki any thoughts? "I never fucked Wayne, I never fucked Drake, on my life man, fuck's sake, if I did, I'd ménage with 'em and let 'em eat my ass like a cupcake"
"You a put together gimmick, something like a collage," not gonna argue it.
"This hood shit you and Drake ain't built for, this the shit this other bitch almost got killed for," in other words the two should stop saying they want war. If you didn't know, Kim really has goons. On one occasion Foxy Brown was talking trash at a radio station and when she left there was a shootout between her entourage and Kim's goons. Foxy ended up leaving through the back and one of her friends was shot. War with Kim means you could die.
"Your hot air ass, should have been deflated," Nicki, we need proof.
"Yous a Lil' Kim wanna be, you just hate to admit it. I'm the blueprint, you ain't nothing brand new, check ya posters and videos, you will always be number 2," Nicki at that point in here career was only doing things after Kim did it. Hell, right now the TV show is the only thing Kim hasn't done.
"Either you high or sippin that shit Wayne on, I get top dollar for whatever my name on," that was a response to Nicki's verse on Monster. Yes Nicki, Kim does get less now than she did in her prime. But, you're getting less now too. That's the way it goes, new rappers move in and old rappers move out. My guess is Lady Leshurr takes your place Nicki. She's already doing international commercials.
"Go stick your head in a tornado- Brainstorm, I drop bombs- Flex, Napalms" She took your flow.
"If I whistle they'll pistol whip you in all 5 boroughs," remember when The Breakfast Club invited Lil Kim on the show and Charlemange spent the whole time calling Kim a washed up hater? Remember when she sent the goons after him less than 24 hours later? Why do people think Kim isn't about that life?
"Im poppin off in your hood with no company, c'mon, Queens ain't showing you no love" Jay Z once told Nas "I got more shooters in Queensbridge than you," but, Jay Z never went to Queens. Lil Kim did and she did a small tour of Queens for months talking about Nicki and nobody ever stopped her.
"You got a buzz right now, I had a frenzy," Kind of true, Lil Kim really was the most popular female rapper ever. World Tours, not just with Biggie, but as a headliner.
"Fuck your whole team all I see is a bunch of wierdos," tell me that Young Money group wasn't full of weirdos.
"This is grown liquid assets, Benjamin's my daddy you Young Money bastards" Kim isn't broke and keeps her money liquid. That means it can easily be converted to cash. A lot of new rappers keep their money in assets and when they need large amounts they end up filing bankruptcy...like 50 Cent. However I think Kim should take some of those liquid assets and invest in other ventures.
"You and Diddy- sorry bunch of swagger jackers," Diddy does manage Nicki. He's probably the reason she's doing all the Kim stuff. Kim also wrote lyrics for Diddy. Diddy has a history of doing things like this to rip off his artist. While he may not be siding with Kim Diddy is a flip flopper. Nicki will drop him and he'll try to be Kim's buddy. It happened all the time when Faith Evans and Lil Kim were beefing. He tries to play both sides and just makes things worse. Yeah, Nicki did start all of this but it was probably Diddy's idea.
"I mothered you hoes I should claim you on my income taxes," As funny as that is you can't claim someone as a dependent if that make more than the $3800 dependent exemption.
"I'm Charles Manson, you don't stand a chance with her, Jeffrey Dahmer and you lookin like lunch to me, bout to kill all you bitches like Ted Bundy" Lil Kim knows a lot about serial killers however this lyric is much better than that. Nicki Minaj's alter ego is Roman Zolanski, based on the work of Roman Polanski. Charles Manson led a cult of followers who actually murdered Roman Polanski's wife.

I love these diss-track posts. You're dead right that most of us Kim fans aren't going to be arguing online about which was better. And I always tell my kids that Nicki is just copying Kim. I know, I know. I sound like a bitter oldhead, but whatever. I can still appreciate Nicki, I just know that she's a knock-off. And lol, Khia.
