Hello everyone. Of course it is I, GarserTheClown, I am here with something new. Future Idol Sensation is a new series where I talk about how good an idol group is and how far they will go in the future. You can expect a lot of new groups on here and I will be getting into a lot t of new groups myself in order to make this a good series. The first group is one of my favorites, CLC. I won't let my biased opinion stray me from what I am trying to do so don't worry. Now Let's get started.
CLC debuted back in March with their first mini album First Love. The title song PEPE was the talk of the town for the girls. Even though they are a rookie group, PEPE has the sound of a veteran group. The girls really show how defined their voices are while doing a "Cute" concept. When I heard the song for the first time I thought that they were older than me but we are in the same age group of young adults.
CLC have amazing singing voices and Rapper Yee Eun is pretty good. I've noticed that she has consistently gotten better at rapping. She rapped on an episode of the After School Club and it was so defined as if she has been rapping before birth. Her rapping starts at 7:42
For their First and Second mini albums, First Love and Question, and even their single Eighteen, these girls are able to show off their cute concept but also being able to show how much they have perfected their craft. This is unlike other girl groups that debut nowadays. You get the cute stuff and then they slowly transition into a more mature concept. I can see CLC's next release putting them already atop of the ladder of girl groups. At this point I think we're all just waiting for them to unleash their full power. I truly think CLC can become huge stars in the K Pop world. They pretty much have everything and are Just teasing us. In my opinion, they can become the top girl group in Cube beating out 4Minute. This was hard for me to say because 4Minute are in my top 5 but I really think it is possible. Another thing that I want to say is that I'm a guy. I never really like the Cute concepts and, as I state it, kiddy music, I actually enjoy CLC a lot. They may come off as cute but they are able to rope you in with their beautiful singing. They are a future force to be reckoned with.
