Risso - Tra La La Mini Album Review

South Korean Electronica Artist Risso has released her first EP, Tr La La. The album consists of 6 songs that strike you from the first listen. The first time I heard Risso sing was back in 2014 on female rapper Kisum's song Like It. I loved Risso's voice but I could not find any other music from her. Fast forward to now and she has graced me with 6 new tracks.

Risso's vice is very high. She sings with such tenacity like a bird. This is her very strong point. If you have been on this blog before then you know that the majority of Korean Artists I review are pop and hip hop. Risso is different. She has a very fresh style that I enjoy. I'm not a big fan of Electronica but Risso is able to deliver with electric beats and a little bit of funk to coexist with her voice.  The mood of the album is pretty light and chill.

The songs blend into each other to keep a certain feel but not too much to the point of an everlasting beat. Each song is something new. The theme of the album is love but in different ways. I assure you that with this album you'll be wanting more from Risso. Her style is fresh and original unlike the rest. I can;t choose my favorite song because I enjoy all of them so much.

This album gets a 5/5 rating from me. All of the songs are well written and produced. The production is a strong point as well. Risso knows how to really put you into a chill mode no matter what. This is a selling point considering how stressed out most people are. This is a great album to sit and unwind to. With this being her first EP, I can not wait to see where she goes from here on out. I hope to hear more great music from her.
