BTS - HwaYangYeonHwa Pt1 Mini Album Review

BTS have made their comeback with their 3rd Mini Album HwaYangYeonHwa (In the Mood For Love). I was not moved once I heard BTS would be making a comeback. I felt as if it was too soon since they released their first full album back over the Summer. It hasn't been a year yet they are already back with another album. I wasn't happy but that soon changed.

As usual the mini album consists of 9 songs. On their last album Rap Monster greets us on the intro but this time it was Suga. Suga utterly killed this song. You can feel his emotions and where he is coming from. Its not as upbeat as some of the songs but more of a song that makes you understand the artist. Thank You for your amazing bars Suga.

I thoroughly enjoyed the songs on this album. I like the addition of trap beats and EDM. I can see BTS stepping out of their comfort zone and still being BTS. My favorite song is I Need You. This is a great song that expresses the vocals and even the raps. The music video was great as well. Its probably the best yet.

Now BTS is known as a Hip Hop group but only 4 of the 7 members are rappers. This album focuses more on the singers than the rappers. This is a great thing. We all know the singers can sing but we didn't know the extent of their voices. Now we do. This is BTS second best album right behind DARK&WILD for this fact. The singers got not only to sing the majority of the songs but write them as well.

With this album I am pretty sure BTS is set to become one of the best groups in Hip Hop and K Pop.not only that but I can all of the members producing solo acts in the future. We all know Suga is next with his mixtape and Rap Monster recently released his. I just wonder who is next. The album is amazing and I am loving all of the vocals. This album gets a rating of 8/10. This is a side note but I would love an album with just the rappers and another with just the singers. Make it happen BTS.
