Lately WWE has not been the best. OR should i put it that if you like other wrestling companies and can decipher real life from fiction, WWE is pretty lacking. I was lying in my bed the other day and then I started to think about my favorite champions. The first to come to mind was Mark Henry as the World Heavyweight Champion. From then I took off but I realized that in the last 7 years, the titles have had poor holders. Meaning that the Champions have lacked even if I like the, Lets take a look at all the WWE Titles holders of the last 7 years. This is only my opinion.
Divas/Women's Championship
Michelle McCool: She is the only re memorable Female champion in WWE I can remember. This is obviously not including the NXT champions. Don't get me wrong. I love Mickie James(a hell of a lot. Damn you Magnus), Eve, Maryse, Melina, and Layla but there were lacking something. They lacked what it means to be a champion. Yeah I loved that hey where champions because they deserved it but in the end it wasn't that great of a reign. I remember every thing from Michelle McColl's rain. I can even put Layla on this list because she was a huge part of it. Even if Laycool was a rip off of The Beautiful People. There were actually still good. McCool was a great wrestler, had good mike skills, and was a great entertainer and she knew how to make the Women's title look great. Everyone else that have held the title are good (not The Bellas) but the title lacked in their presence.
IC
Drew McIntyre, Dolph Ziggler, Wade Barrett, Cody Rhodes: These are literally the only good IC champions in the last 7 years. Everyone of them has made the title so much better considering it continues to fall off. My favorite on this list Drew McIntyre. All of these guys have brought the title out of irrelevance and made it great. I like Kofi, Big E, Miz, and Christian but their reigns were not fun. The title looked like trash and the wrestler didn't look good either. Thank you four for being great champions in the last 7 years.
U.S.
MVP and The Miz: These two had to of the best reigns in the last 7 years. MVP held the title for 343 days and it id proudly, When Miz had the title it was so great. No one could beat him for the title, Miz always hyped the title up, and for once in a while, the US title over shined the IC Title. I actualy though Miz would be the first person to hold the WWE and US but that didn't happen. Either way these are the best US title holders in the last 7 years.
Tag Team
Usos, Shomiz, Jerishow, Santino and Kozlov: In the last 7 years they have been many tag teams. Some good and others have been what ever. These four tag teams have been my favorite in terms of being good champions. Like it or not the tag team division was pretty good when Santino and Kozlov had them. I don't like Santino at all but I did during that reign. The Usos put on great matches sand know what it means to be champions. Especially since they should have been champions a long time ago. Shomiz and Jerishow were two of the funniest tag teams during their reign. Big Show was actually good during his time with Miz and Jericho. I don't know if it was Big Show trying or his tag partners making him look good. When these teams had the titles it was a great time. Team Hell No could be considered good since they did bring upon a decent division and we got the team of Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel. Thank you Team Hell No.
WHC
Mark Hnery and Edge: What can you really say about this title. It was worse than the IC title because it was reduced to nothing. The only people that were able to make this title look good and have a good feud and matches were Mark Henry and Edge. Mark Henry not only being one of my favorite Black Wrestlers, he is my favorite World Heavyweight Champion. In the last 7 years (I know I keep saying this but shut up) they have been the only two champions to make the title mean something. I love undertaker, Jericho, Del Rio and Mysterio but they lacked as actual champions. Undertaker is great but the only thing good about him being champion is the matches and promos. The title is buried a little when he has it. Thank You Mark Henry and Edge.
WWE
The Miz and CM Punk: If you know me than you should have seen it coming. Of course these are the best WWE Champions in the last 7 years. Orton and Triple H make the title stale, Brock Lesnar thinks its an every day belt that others want. Maybe he should visit Chicago. John Cena makes the title look good but only for a short time because it Cena. Bryan never got a good reign and everyone else paled in comparison to Miz and Punk. They made the title look like the best title in the biz. They battled any and all competitors and defeated them all. The Miz made it known he was the champion every night. Miz might actually be the best heel WWE champion in the last 7 years. Other thought he was annoying but to me he was just proving who he was. Punk maybe a bitch but on TV he shined with the title. You can not ell me the title didn't look great with him.
These are my favorite and best champions in the last 7 years. there are good people that hold titles but the reign is either boring or it never amounts to anything. I love Big E and Koif but their latest reigns as IC champions were boring. Dean Ambrose is great but he is the worst US champion in history. The divas division sucks, Orton, Cena, and Lesnar are stale, thank god the WHC has been retired.
