Tenchi Muyo: Tenchi in Love Movie Review

Tenchi Muyo: Tenchi in Love is the first movie from the Tenchi Muyo franchise. If you have not seen Tenchi Muyo the OVA series, Tenchi Universe or Tenchi in Tokyo, go do that now. First watch the OVA series which is a total of 20 episodes and then Universe which is 26 episodes. So lets talk about one of my favorite anime movies.

The movie takes place after Tenchi Universe so it varies from the OVA series. So basically years after be defeated by the Jurai Emperor and the space Police, the super Class A-1 villain Kain escapes his prison and goes back in time to take revenge on the Jurai's royal family by killing Tenchi's mother Achika. The gang realizes this when Tenchi starts to fade out of existence. So they travel back in time to where Kain is to protect Achika. Now the rest of the movie is the standard Tenchi comedy with he standard Tenchi feelings. What I mean by feelings is that Tenchi Muyo really knows how ti make you feel for the characters and this movie did to the extreme. We get to see the love story of Achika and Tenchi's father Nobuyuki unfold and it is beautiful. I'm not going to go over too much the the movie to prevent spoilers. We also get to see Tenchi interact with his mother again since she is dead in the present time. When he met her I shed a few tears. This movie makes you feel all kinds of emotions. Its hard to explain with out spoiling.

Tenchi fapped to fast

The music was great of course. The animation for its time was really good. the story line was great in my opinion. I like I said you have to watch the OVA series before the movie of course. I recommend to you anything Tenchi Muyo Related. Tenchi Muy is harem, sc-fi, comedy based show that you will love for the rest of your life. The characters are amazing and it almost like you're apart of the show once you become attached to it. It has that One Piece, Binbougami ga!, and Gintama, and Yu Yu Hakusho effect. You love the characters to the point that you wish they were real so that you could hang with them. I wish I was a Straw Hat. I give Tenchi Muyo: Tenchi in Love a B+ and I hope you get into Tenchi Muyo because it is a great classic. I'm done for now and  I will see you guys later.
