It's probably my favorite track off of my last tape (Redentor), but its hasn't gotten as much love as I think it deserves (relative to anything else on the tape). It's based off a Charles Mingus sample, a jazzy piano sort of thing. Going for an old-school organic, but not irrelevant, vibe. I'm currently working on a new tape, which I hope to release within the next month or so. - MC GirkThere's something about an instrumental that doesn't waste time on intros. Hitting you in the face right away is a good way to make a statement. When most people do a jazz inspired track they make you wait forever for a beat drop.
