March 6th 2014: The day The Streak died and the day the Goat got his glory.

I am typing this minutes after Wrestlemania. Expect nothing good here.

Two things happened.

One thing I thought would never happen and the other is something I hoped would happen for months.

Bryan. Finally. Did. It. In what I can seriously call a five star match, Daniel Bryan has finally gotten the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. That match was fucking incredible. That table spot with Batista and Orton, holy fuck. It was beautiful and when Bryan came back I was getting Mankind flashbacks. It was beautiful.

Now...onto what shocked pretty much everyone.

THE DAY THE STREAK DIED.

I...really can't put into words how I felt when I heard the 1-2-3. I was in a stream...and nobody talked when it happened. We were all silent. It was like someone just swooped in and took everyone away.

It felt like a close relative died and you just don't know how to react.

The Streak has been alive as long as I has been born and to see it just...end...

...it hurt, man.

It seriously hurt.

20. Years.

20. Years.

Most careers don't last that long and to see Taker do it and stay entertaining is just amazing.

Thank you Undertaker for 20 years of pure amazement.

Rest in Peace.

see you, deadman.

  1. That table spot was just incredible. That would have killed Ziggler.
