Reviewing instrumentals are hard. So much relies on opinion. That's because there's nothing to do but listen to the music. You don't have to look at the flow, lyrical ability, charisma, or any of the other things that you usually look at in an album. That also means the review be a lot shorter and I can't even give it a score, but I can point out what I heard. So without further staling I bring you Welcome To The Jungle by Adeoluwa.
Adeoluwa is yet another talented 17 year old from Dallas. I don't know whats in the water down there, but it's working. Welcome To The Jungle is a short EP with 5 track coming in at 20 minutes. But it's a really good 20 minutes.
While the tracks are chaotic it's a controlled chaos. Similar to how the jungle may seem chaotic at first glance, but is actually a precise and detailed ecosystem. Adeoluwa has crafted 5 tracks that seem chaotic at first listen but are actually wonderfully crafted.
My favorite track is without doubt Jungle Fever. Simple yet heavy. I usually don't like instrumentals like that but Jungle Fever is awesome. Heavy on the strings, light on the drums it's an all around good track. Someone should buy it and wreck it.
I don't have a track dislike. Everything is well crafted and rides smoothly through. If anything my only complaint is it's too short. Pretty sure this is the first project Adeoluwa has released. If so he's already shaping up to be a good producer.
