Tell this isn't one of the most sexiest songs to be released this year. We got a song about sex produced by Cha Cha while sung by Hoody and ELO. We got another Hoody and ELO song. This song right here is a mood setter. You turn this on and everyone gets freaky. Hoody and ELO work well together as usual. I'm Cha Cha saved this beat for Hoody because it works so well with her genre and her voice. This song highkey turned me on.
Childish Gambino - Baby Boy
My third favorite song from the album, Awaken, My Love. The song is about Gambino's love for his new baby son who might be taken away from him by his mother because he isn't a responsible father. The composition here has to be the best on the album. He captured all of his emotions about the subject here. The effects on the voice were perfect for the tone of the beat, the guitar is my favorite instrument here. It gets me every time. I can't stop put burn a guitar in the name of love when listening to this song.
The Weekend - Secrets
The way that Secrets sounds is pretty cool. It gives off this late 80's pop and r&B vibe mixed with a more deeper voice from the weekend as he isn't venting or screeching here. The lyrics are cute as he talks about hearing the secrets that she hears when she's talking in her sleep at the same time of being side because she's cheating on him. This song is a tad sad but very upbeat for the most part. A good switch up from the previous songs that were very robust compared to this track. Its one of my favorites from the album and I would love more songs like this from Abel.
Changmo - Ambition
The entire Time To Make Money 3 EP is bussing but Ambition is my favorite song because the beat is very adventurous meaning you can definitely feel the ambition of all 3 rappers, Changmo, Hash Swan, and Kim Hyoyeon. They all killed it but of course Changmo wasn't going to get bodied on his own song so he went extra hard. I loved Hyoyeon's voice on the beat and that "Swag" by Has Swan before his verse was cool. Overall a great song that everyone needs to know about.
Baek Yerin - November Song
Any time Baek Yerin releases a song, you can guarantee it will be on this list. November song does feel like November with its soft composition and Yerin's tender voice. The piano is very cute but the live version of this song is even better. Yerin tells a very cute song about the first kiss and moments with that special person. It brings back memories for me.
Heize - Star
I was expecting another song like her collaboration with Junhyung but i was greated with something better. We got a ballad with some rapping that was okay but the singing here and the beat are the selling point. Ingot chills just listening to her sing along with the beat. Heize did a great job on the lyrics.
G2 - Young and Alive (Entourage Soundtrack Mixtape)
I was expecting a trap song or a heavy hip hop beat but it was very uplifting and I think that reflects the atmosphere of what Entourage is going for. G2 did a great job making sure that he was just as lively as the beat. His lyrics are great for a song about being young and wild. I can picture myself in my car cruising down the street feeling great. G2 rolled out another banger that I am grateful for.
Miso - Take Me
The entire song is in English which surprised me even though Miso has been singing in English on her previous songs to soundcloud. The song is about a rocky relationship that neither people cane let go. Miso's voice is here is calm while the beat, which was produced by her, has some trap influence but has a very simple melody. It all mixes together for a pretty solid song. The storytelling here is my favorite part. Miso was able to sing a story here compared to a poem. I love this song a lot.
Yeseo - Bud
This song is beautiful. It reminds me of Suran's Calling In Love just a bit. Yeseo's voice is outstanding here. The beat is great and when it dropped I wasn't ready. This song embodies that feeling you get during the winter where its cold outside and warm inside but you can still feel the outside. That was a weird explanation but its the best one I can give. The song also sounds like water. I cant't get over how great this song is.
Suran - Winter Bird
Suran's voice here makes me cry. I can feel her emotions through her voice and I love it so much. The composition here is covered in Suran's flavor and it falls back to her first single Calling in Love and is unlike her previous singles Ddang Ddang Ddang and Paradise Go. Songs like this are my favorite from Suran so I'll be blasting Winter Bird for the rest of my life.
