There's a new girl group called Mixx with 4 members being Hanna, Liyah, Ari, and Hyeni. Their debut track Oh Ma Mind is a slick and urban track that wraps you in but it does have its flaws. The beat is nice but it doesn't have a good build up or a nice finish. The beat just keeps playing without a change for the hook and the chorus. Its a nice Urban R&B track but that's sort of it. The girl's singing is nice but there are no leaps and bounds to establish good vocals. Liyah seems to fall short on her vocals. The rapper has a nice voice and she stay in tune but her rapping was not long enough nor was it strong enough to leave any lasting impressions. For what its worth, the song is very enjoyable. The beat is soothing and the vocals and rapping were just right for a cool song to wind down to. I feel like with more practise this good be a good group. They're not bad and I hope they can continue making music in the future. I rate it a 3/5.
