In 1977 Richard Pryor was hired as the headliner for what he believed was a human rights fundraiser held by the "Save our Human Rights Foundation," in reality they were not their for all human rights. By the next morning Richard Pryor was front page news again. This time for what has been called the most homophobic rant in the history of comedy. However, that's a story of half truths and lies. This is what really happened. For the record, I don't think "cancel culture," is a real thing, but titles are important on YouTube.

"History is written by the winners," is a phrase that is often repeated. However, it's not true. More often than not the losers write history. What we're left with is a sterilized view of history that does a great disservice to us all. These retellings are often filled with outright lies such as a George Washington's wooden teeth or are told in a way that would make the average person view it as too complicated. I'm here because history doesn't need to complicated, but it needs to be told, and told truthfully.
