I know Black Panther is dropping and that's cool, I'm really excited for that. However, the movie I'm most excited about has to be A Wrinkle in Time. It's a sci-fi film directed by Ava DuVernay based on the 1962 novel of the same name. It's one of the few books I was forced to read during my school years that I actually enjoyed. The plot revolves around Meg and Charles who are driven through alternate dimensions, disembodied brains, the supernatural and more in search of Meg's father. It's been promoted as love trumping over evil and that is certainly true. However, the dangers of dictatorships and conforming without cause was something we covered when discussing the book heavily back then so I'm curious to see how that will play out on film.
