5 WWE Wrestlers That Need A Change

With the brand split coming soon, now is a good time for several WWE personalities to revise their characters. Not everyone can revise their character as many times as Matt Hardy, but sometimes things become stale. Either that or they never even had the chance to connect with the fans. The brand split offers the unique opportunity for these superstars to freshen things up. For some they need a new gimmick for others a new attire and some just need to find something to do. Anything really.

1. Sin Cara - The current Sin Cara was previously known as Hunico. We all know damn well that Hunico is a great wrestler. However while wearing that mask he seems prone to botches. When he was just Hunico this wasn't a problem. The problem is the mask. I'm not saying he has to change the gimmick but the mask has to go. He wouldn't be the first luchador to change his mask to see better. Just change the damn mask so you can see better. There's no peripheral vision in it and the eyes are covered with mesh. You don't even have to change the design much. Just remove mesh it's from the eyes.

2. Primo and Epico - What are we doing to them? They've been Mexican Bull Fighters from Spain and now they're tour guides. All because someone decided they weren't interesting enough as just Primo and Epico. Please stop, just let them go back to being Puerto Rican cousins. Hell, bring in Carlito since stables seem to be all the rage. There just isn't a point to them having silly gimmicks when they were just fine without them. Making them tour guides instead of bull fighters isn't going to help them.

3. Kane - This corporate Kane thing should have never happened. And when it did happen it should have ended immediately. Since becoming corporate Kane he's slowly slid down the midcard into obscurity.I don't really care for masked Kane but if he goes back to his World Heavyweight Championship attire an mannerisms the devil's favorite demon may actually intimidate people once again. Until now the only interesting thing he's done is the split personalities briefly while feuding with Rollins. Even Big Show has managed to stay relevant.

4. Dolph Ziggler - He used to be the show off who loved being a bad guy. Now he's just Shawn Michaels lite. He's switched to tights that are almost the same as HBKs in the 90s. He's using the super kick as a finisher now, complete with band tuning. Dolph has reached a point in his career where he's just festering as the upper midcard talent who can feud with the new heel. Because Dolph has become a generic face.

The brand split is great because it'll give more wrestlers the chance to shine on television. Hopefully it'll give several the opportunity to reinvent themselves.

You can hear Darrell on the CP Time and Powerbomb Jutsu podcasts. He also plays classic arcade games on The Cabinet
Darrell S.

Hey, I write stuff, a lot of different stuff, that's all.
