By Daniel DiNatale,
So if you haven't heard or seen the news all over Nintendo's social media accounts and everywhere else on the Internet, the Nintendo NX will apparently be dropping in Early 2017. Not to mention, they are also pushing The Legend of Zelda Wii U back to around the same time in order to make a NX Port of it. Now if that wasn't bad enough, that's the only game they will be showing at E3 this year. And guess what? There will be no sight of the NX anywhere. No conference of it, no model, no nothing. Then you wonder why Nintendo profits have dropped by 61%. But wait there's more! There will be an Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem game for iPhone! Fun right? No. In fact, this is the reason why I am so fed up with Nintendo.
Nintendo has a history of doing stupid things and making stupid business decisions. Half their consoles are constantly failing, along with that piece of hardware we call a Wii U. Since it's release in 2012, the Wii U has sold about 13 million consoles WORLDWIDE. The PS4 did that in a little less than a year. Alright, I understand I'm being a little harsh, but in a way, it's no excuse. The Wii went up against the PS3 and XBOX 360 last gen, and performed phenomenal! I mean, what are you doing Nintendo? You can't survive forever on Pokemon, Mario and Zelda. You abandoned F-Zero, made shitty Star Fox games, and where are all the old franchises you have? Maybe other people don't want to see it, but shit, I would love to see a cool Ice Climbers game. You put all these characters in Smash, but where are their standalone, modernized games that we all want to see? Will I ever see a F-Zero game for Wii U? How about a good Kirby game, because I haven't seen one since the DS days. You might not think it's profitable, but man, other fans want to see that. Hell, a lot of them have left you because of what you do with these games and how you treat them. Mario used to be special, now it seems like there's a new Mario game every other week. Come on man!
Another thing, and probably my last point, is your lack of a legitimate E3 Conference. That bullshit you do where you have a pre-recording isn't cutting it anymore. How about you get on stage and showcase your games and what you have in store live? If Sony and Microsoft can do it and make it work out along with other developers such as EA and Ubisoft, I'm pretty sure you can also. Half the conferences I watch aren't even good, especially Ubisfot. I know you can perform better than them. There are so many things you can do that you could show live, for example, that gamepad that you have for the Wii U. I think that thing is so cool, but no developers want to develop games that integrate gameplay into that gamepad because A) It's probably too hard or B) You don't give them enough reason to do so because of the lack of good games you have for the console.
All in all, this is Nintendo's "Make it or Break It" console. The lack of Zelda being delayed is disappointing. Why are you waiting for the NX to come out to release it? Just release the Wii U version of it already. But no. You're "finalizing it." Finalizing it takes a whole year to do? I dunno anymore Nintendo. I used to love the Gamecube, the DS, and the Wii, which I still have despite how bad the games were for it. You need to earn your fans back. You need to start listening to them once again. I'm just fed up with you. If this console flops, you need to go the SEGA route like they did in 2001 in America with the SEGA Dreamcast being their last console, and just become a video game developer and not a console maker. I see them working more with Microsoft than Sony anyways. That's my honest opinion about you guys. I want you to succeed, but at the same time, I see why you can't. Do you think that Nintendo still has another shot with the NX? Voice your opinions in the comments below. Until next time guys.

Couldn't agree more.
