Fullbringer Greatness: Why It was a Great Arc

One of the biggest debates in Bleach History is the entity that is the Fullbringer Arc. The arc that was supposed to be about Chad and Ichigo regaining his powers. Everyone has their own opinion on this topic. Some totally bash it while other try to find the lime light. I on the other hand, like this arc. I will point out the good and the bad.

Cons

  • Short: The Fullbringer Arc is only 26 episodes. I think it is the shortest arc but nonetheless its short. I feel that the arc would have been better if it was longer. Especially since the ending was kind of rushed. The last battle was only about 10 minutes and mot of it was talking and looking at people. Some key characters didn't even show up until half way through or the very end. We also didn't get to know each character long enough to actually care for them. Except for Moe Shishigawara. That dude is pretty funny and badass.

  • Weak Villains: The villains in this arc were very weak. I'm talking so weak that I could beat them up. They don;t have physical strength, just over powered or haxed abilities. Yukio could create materials from nothing, Tsukishima could change your history, Jackie hat boots that gave her leg strength but as long as they are clean, you can take her down. Their abilities are pretty damn lame compared to what we've seen. There was no way they could even beat Orihime. Even the final boss Genju was nothing special in terms of strength.

  • Not About Chad: The Arc was to focus on Chad. It told the origin of his powers as well as Orihime and Ichigo. The thing was, Chad didn't show up until half way through the arc. The entire time it was about him, he was just hanging around doing nothing. Even when he and Orihime were brainwashed, they still didn't do anything. Once again Chad was pushed out of the spotlight.
Pros

Great Story: People always complain about how boring or trashy Bleach is because it either has no story line or the story is mediocre. The one time Kubo gives us a good story, people complain. The Fullbringer Arc had a good story. From the very first episode I could feel what was laid down. Ichigo is pretty mush depressed over losing his powers and how hos future end up. The man spent 2 and a half years saving the damn Human, Spirit World, and Hueco Mundo. How do you cope with doing all that and having to just stop out of the blue? You don't.

There's more to it. Chand is missing, Uryu is moving on in life and Orihime is just there. Other than that its just a regular day in Human world when people are being attacked and aren't having memories of it. Then Gunjo comes in and is stalking Ichigo. He tells him that he can give him his powers back. Ginjo is not to be trusted but at the same time if a stalker comes up to you and say he can give you your powers back, you're going to believe him. On top of that he actually helps him out and is trying top help defeat Tsukishima who is believed to be the villain. the entire time it was Ginjo working with Tsukishima. We all saw it coming but it was still a fun ride.

We all wanted a good story line with minimal quirks and we got it. There wasn't much fighting which in my book was cool because the story was the main point. "Bleach is so typical" but when it does something not only different from the usual but also other Shounen manga, you guys get mad. Even though Ginjo was defeated, he completed his mission. He got his own damn powers back even though he died. What other villain in bleach was successful with their plan? Exactly.

You people always try to twist the manga into your point of view but never take the time to look at what is actually in front of. Stop trying to compare shit, and enjoy it for what it is. You damn hypebeasts.
