#5. Brook
Brook is just so damn funny. This dude from the beginning was just flat out funny. "May I see your panties". What would a skeleton do with panties. The fact that he can have nose bleeds is outrageous but what can you say; its just plain old Brook. But the other reason why Brook is on the list is because of his past. His past of all of his crew mates dying all around him and he can do nothing because he himself is also dying. The real difference is that he's come back to life. And since he has a Devil Fruit he can't swim which means that if he were able to fall into the ocean he wouldn't be able to swim back up and he can't die so he'll just sink at the bottom of the ocean from all eternity. That shit is sad. But even after all this his gets his shadow taken and its like damn, how can you still be so cheerful after all this bad stuff happened to you? Brook is truly a strong character and he deserves to be in my top 5.
Buggy is too dam funny. But the funny thing is is that I never thought that I would grow to love Buggy and he'd be on my Top 5 One Piece characters. This character is just plain out funny and even though he does bogus stuff like betray people, he still has some good or kindness to show for people. When he decided to help Luffy in Impel Down I truly though he was turning Face (Wrestling reference) And on top of that everything Buggy did in that arc was just amazing. And when you think about all he did was bitch and run but as long as its funny, its acceptable. And it really was Buggy who commanded that prison break and attack on Marie Jois not luffy. Even Crocodile followed in the Great Buggy's plan. And all of this landed him a spot with the Shichibukai. How boss is that? But seriously I have mad respect for Buggy and that is why he is on my list.
#3 Usopp
One of the best characters in the series. I always though that Usopp was a funny character and that the only thing he was good at was creating gadgets. But when the crew went to Water 7 and he was jumped by the Franky Brothers that m\pissed me off. Then the rest of the Crew went and restored his honor. But what happened next was when he was told that his pride and joy the Going Marry was going to be replaced he wasn't having it. He ends up fighting with Luffy in one of the most emotional battle of them all. I had tears on the edge of my eye lids but I wasn't going to cry but then Chopper started to then i quickly followed. I cried so much during that for him to leave the crew was heart breaking. So he creates a persona known as Soge King the king of Snipers. He easily slips his way into the crew even though everyone knows who he is accept Luffy. He goes and fights alongside with them against CP9. And even though he lost to Jyabura he saved the entire crew when he stopped Spandam from taking Robin away. If it wasn't for Usopp then the entire crew would be dead and there wouldn't have been a Marineford Arc. But I love Usopp and he deserves to be in my Top 5.
#2 Nico Robin
I love Robin soooooooooo much. She is one of the hottest females in anime who isn't dumb or useless. Face it, Shizuka from H.O.T.D is hot but she is a dumbass. But I love Robin and nothing will stop me from loving her. But not only is she pretty but smart and strong as well. Robin can handle her business. But (I have to stop saying but) the reason she's my number two is because of everything she's been through. Her past with her mother and being wanted at the age of 8 is just horrible. She never had anyone to love her until she meet the Strawhat Pirates. And just when you though things were going to be great CP9 show up. They kidnap her, kick her friends ass, and left them to die. Then it was up to the crew to come save her and my favorite Robin moment is when she cried while yelling that she wants to live. I cried an ocean when that happened. I could not get over it. Everyone in my house were asking me what's wrong and I'm just like "shut the fuck up". Ever since that moment I hate to see Robin cry. When she cries I crew. But none the less I love Robin with every part of me and she has a rightful place as my 2nd favorite One Piece character.
#1 Sanji
Sanji is THE best One Piece character ever! I'm just kidding. He's not the best but he is one of the best characters. The reason Sanji is my favorite character because he's just a real person. He has fangasim and fanboy moments, (like I do when ever I think about or listen to a Namie Amuro song) he has is serious side to him. and he has the side of him that's just compassionate with his cooking and his friends. Sanji is a very lovable characters and has too many badass moments. When he defeated Jabra with the Diable Jambe that entire fight was epic. Jabra couldn't touch Sanji during that fight. Sanji can easily kick stone was down, break robots, and kick giant people ass all with his kicks. Back when I was marathoning the Water 7 and Enies Lobies Arc all I could say was "Parage Shoot". I love that move. Sanji is really a smart and outgoing person. He thinks of things that the other crew members wouldn't because he's more calm in the worst situations. Sanji reminds me of me. We have a lot in common and that's why he's my favorite One Piece character.
