Linzi Stoppard and FUSE

When you hear violins you don't instantly think exciting, but you should. Linzi Stoppard and Ben Lee of FUSE are raising the bar to new and unrealistic levels. The music created by FUSE flawlessly cover classic rock while bringing a prestigious sound. FUSE may not believe they're untouchable but I for one believe that they are. They've transcended to a realm that many would never believe possible.

It's not often that you hear of electric violinists but FUSE has made a name for themselves throughout the world to become international sensations. FUSE has been nominated and won awards from such prestigious institutions such as The British Academy of Film and Television Arts. Alongside their numerous awards they have the distinction of being the only violinists sponsored by Swarovoski. They currently perform on two 24-Carat Gold and Cystal Swarovoski violins.

Typically you wouldn't expect amazing sounds to come from a golden violin but I can assure that the sound produced by these violins is incredible. Every note played is incredibly clear, which also speaks to the talents of Linzi and Ben.

While Ben Lee may be known to some as the five time Guinness World Record holder for the fastest violinist, Linzi Stoppard has also made quite the name for herself over the last few years. Linzi has made a name for herself for being outspoken about FUSE direction, as well as dedicating time to charities.

Linzi and Ben don't have any restrictions when it comes to the music they play. While you may expect them to play strictly Jazz on violins, you'd be wrong. Their self titled album is filled with covers of classic rock songs that anyone can enjoy. While being an international group may be considered a challenge for some groups FUSE doesn't suffer this setback. Being a completely instrumental group allows them to bypass any language barriers.

Rock is not the only genre that FUSE does well. They also dabble in dubstep as well. Both Linzi and Ben have obtained a high level of skill that not many can compete with. FUSE would have no problem covering any of the music from the last 300 years. It's rare that we can hear such relevant music from today's tie period while incorporating yesterday's classics. FUSE released their self titled album in 2010 and since then have been touring the world. I along with many others wait until the day when they release another album.
