Fuck You Anime and Manga Perfectionists

So I’m chilling on Twitter and I see a Hunter X Hunter and Naruto debate going down and I’m thinking, “Oh shit here we go”. Now I’m a huge Naruto fan and I grew up with the series. I even dare to say that Naruto is my all-time favorite action anime and manga. So I see people who constantly bash Naruto due to character development, story flaws etc. Which is ok, because that’s their opinion; but at the SAME FUCKING TIME IT’S NOT OKAY. I’m getting tired of you snobby ass Otaku, anime, manga perfectionists.

What really drove me to the point to write this rant is because of people I saw that talked about Hunter X Hunter (which is an extremely popular anime and manga right now) being held in such high regards as being the G.O.A.T (Greatest Of All Time) and people hype the series as being perfect, having no flaws, etc. and that the series is better than Naruto because of X, Y, and Z (XYZ = Reasons). Now I’m not debating that because I never watched the series. But I’m about to make my point just wait a second.

Whether it’s action, romance, harem, slice of life, or another type of anime, there’s someone that ALWAYS HAS TO CRITIZE a series due to character development, story flaws, characters designs etc. HOW ABOUT YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP AND ENJOY THE DAMN SERIES FOR WHAT IT’S WORTH INSTEAD OF BITCHING ALL THE TIME!

Not all anime and manga apply to the set standards of having great character development, story flaws, characters designs etc. By Gawd some of you perfectionists make me so damn mad. I just don’t get mad about Naruto but many anime in general. I WATCH ANIME BECAUSE I LOVE ANIME AND I READ MANGA BECAUSE I LIKE TO READ MANGA, NOT BECAUE I WANT TO JUDGE ANIME WITHOUT MERCY AND JUDGE MANGA WITHOUT MERCY!

Also to be fair and not sound like a complete ignorant asshole I do agree that MOST anime should have a decent storyline, plot, character development and so on but COME THE FUCK ON IF YOU FIRST NOTION WHEN YOU WATCH AN ANIME OR TO READ A MANGA IS TO JUDGE WITHOUT MERCY THEN FUCK YOU! SOME OF US WANT TO ENJOY A SERIES IN PEACE WITHOUT JUDGEING A SERIES TO A SET STRANDARD!

This blog was all over the place but my main point is that not all anime and manga need to be judged as though your life depended on it. Some of us just want to watch and read in peace without hearing about why a series is not as good as another or that a series isn’t good because it doesn’t fit your ridiculous guidelines.

P.S. This is a rant and no fucks were given when I made this blog.
