WWE.com put up an article on whether the IC and US Championships should be unified since the Tag, Divas, and World Titles were unified. They inter viewed both of the current holders of the Championships and they both said that if the challenge arose then they would be on board with it. I started to think that if the titles were unified like the others then it would bring more attention to the sole champion who is the first person to hold the unified US and IC title and more talent would want to hold it.
If the two titles are to be unified then I would want Big E to hold it because if its Dean Ambrose then he won't defend it like he's doing with the US Title. Some times I forget we have a US title because he doesn't defend it. With the unification of the World and WWE title the Tag Team Division and Big E Langston are getting a good push. Big E is the IC Champion so if he gets a push then the IC title will get a push. With one midcard title then all the mid card competition will come after Big E Heel or Face.
Most of the current talent are in the tag division and the others in the main event scene. That still leaves other talent to come get in on this action, especially the unused ones. Justin Gabriel is over due for a singles title. He was once a part of the Nexus and a 3 time Tag Champion with Heath Slater. This guy had a few good matches with John Cena on RAW. He is a perfect example of an unused talent. I would love to see him in a match against Big E. I'm going to write WWE a letter about this. WWE does not know what they have here. It could be an all out war over the IC championship if its unified with the US title. Every RAW and SmackDown someone could be after Big E for the title. When was the last time we saw a good fatal 4 way #1 contenders match? Just imagine Justine Gabriel vs David Otunga vs Alex Riley vs Tyson Kidd and the winner gets to go against Big E. That would be a great match to see. I'm really going to write WWE a letter now. I would start paying attention to SmackDown and buy every pay per view if this kind of stuff was always on there. But all of this wont happen because WWE doesn't care about their fans. They only care about the bitches and kids that will never watch it again when they start to get pussy. Sorry for my rant but I'm just hard on it because I love it. One day I'll open up my own wrestling company and Justin Gabriel and Drew McIntyre will be my two lead champions.
