Top 5 Reasons As To Why Disney Has Severely Tarnished The Star Wars Franchise

Since it’s inception in 1977, Star Wars (created by George Lucas) has gone on to become one of the most iconic and legendary franchises in history, but over the last seven years since Disney bought The Star Wars franchise for $4 billion back in 2012, the franchise was rapidly gone downhill since.

Here are several reasons as to why Disney has severely tarnished The Star Wars franchise.

Saying “Fuck You” To Longtime Star Wars Fans - One of the absolutely biggest reasons as to why Disney has tarnished The Star Wars franchise is because they wanted to push their political agendas in Star Wars films and it was quite evident in “The Last Jedi” which so many people absolutely hated and an example of this was the casino scene where they had this narrative where they talked about war profiteering and animal cruelty and that angered longtime Star Wars fans. The biggest fuck you that came from Disney to longtime Star Wars fans was how they severely assassinated and butchered the most iconic and legendary character in Star Wars history in Luke Skywalker when he was reduced from an tough and badass Jedi in “The Original Trilogy” to being depicted as a weak old frail main who was a coward in “The Last Jedi” and this was insulting and infuriating to longtime Star Wars fans.

Political Agendas - Another reason as to why Disney has severely tarnished The Star Wars franchise was their aggressiveness to insert their political agendas into their version of Star Wars. This is evident as seen in “The Last Jedi” where they talked about the owners of the casino being war profiteers who fund both sides of the war and immensely enriching themselves off of it. Another example of political agendas in Star Wars was a scene from “The Last Jedi” where they talked about animal cruelty (wypopo kill animals all the time) and how eating meat is bad and all this other condescending and hypocritical pro-vegan bullshit. These political agendas have heavily poisoned movies like this year’s Captain Marvel film and The 2016 film Ghostbusters which led to both of those films being a massive failure at the box office.

“Forget The Past, Kill It If You Have To!!!” - Another one of the biggest reasons as to why Disney has severely tarnished The Star Wars franchise is because of its disrespect and mistreatment of The Original Trilogy characters as evidenced when Kylo Ren said a line in a scene of “The Last Jedi” where he tells Rei to “forget the past, kill it if you have to” in which Disney is deliberately insulting longtime Star Wars fans by saying that if you’re a fan of Star Wars, fuck you because this is our version and vision of it and we certainly don’t give a damn about none of the characters from The Original Trilogy as evidenced when they assassinated, butchered, and killed off Han Solo in “The Force Awakens” and Leia, and Luke in “The Last Jedi”. Disney has made it perfectly clear to longtime Star Wars fans that they don’t give a damn about the past because they care about the here and now.

The Feminist Agenda - Another one of the biggest reasons as to why Disney has severely tarnished The Star Wars franchise is their aggressive feminist agenda where “women are strong and good while men are weak and bad” and this was not only evident in notorious feminist Kathleen Kennedy’s statements of “the sequel trilogy will cater to women”, but also that “the protagonist will be a ridiculously overpowered Mary Sue” in Rei. Another example of the feminist agenda in Disney’s version of Star Wars was when they severely watered down the male characters in “The Last Jedi” and made them out to be weak and cowardly while the women in that film were portrayed as strong and capable heroes that could save the day.

Kathleen Kennedy - One of the final reasons as to why Disney has severely tarnished The Star Wars franchise is because of a feminist in charge of LucasFilms named Kathleen Kennedy. Since being personally handpicked by George Lucas to take over LucasFilms in 2012, Kathleen Kennedy has made many controversial and bad decisions as the head of LucasFilms such as assassinating, butchering, and killing off The Original Trilogy characters like Han, Leia, and Luke and even bringing in people who know absolutely nothing about Star Wars like Rian Johnson (who I personally dislike) to write and direct “The Last Jedi” which many longtime Star Wars fans hated and even buried the film in many reviews and rants about the film because of how controversial and polarizing it was.

The Conclusion - Disney has made it personally clear that they don’t care about the past let alone longtime Star Wars fans except to only make money off of them because like many other big corporations, Disney is blinded by the love of money.
