I Never Want to See Hulk Hogan Again

For months now, reports have circulated that Hulk Hogan could be making a return to WWE. For some people this is all they need for excitement to take hold of them. It's been a few years since we've seen Hulk Hogan pop up in WWE. Personally, I'd be happy if he never appeared on my timeline or TV ever again. That's just how I feel about the situation and doubt there's much that could change that.

For those of you who don't know or forgot Hulk Hogan was caught in a few different moments. The first was back in 2012 when he was on DJ Whoo Kidd's radio show. During the show DJ Whoo Kidd asks if Hulk has ever had a black person use the word in reference to Hulk. Hulk responded with:
Well, Booker T, used to say that to me on TV, and, you know, every time I pull up YouTube there’s that famous thing that Booker T … goes, ‘I’m coming for you, my nigga [...] They’re all calling me nigga, and then I started saying it and you know, I always said it, but now all of a sudden I get heat when I said it.
The thing is, that's not the only time Hulk Hogan got caught using the word "nigga," actually I take that back because the 2015 tapes featured Hogan going all out and using the hard "r" when referencing his daughter Brooke dating a black man. Hulk's exact quote is:
I mean, I’d rather if she was going to fuck some nigger, I’d rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall niggr worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player! I guess we’re all a little racist. I mean I am a racist to a point. Fuking nigger. But when it comes to nice people and shit, and whatever
I don't have the tolerance for racism, at all. Anyone will tell you, it's one of the things that pushes my buttons. I don't even like Ric Flair because of stories guys like Teddy Long have told. I wish we didn't have to see Ric Flair so much or at all. Pro wrestling had and still has a lot of issues with race. Some guys have gone back and reflected on things and determined how stupid they were.

Look, if you fuck and you do or say something racist, but you own up to it and make amends there's no issue. The issue is Hulk hasn't done a damn thing to rectify it. There's been no apology or anything like that. There's been no community service. He didn't have an Eric Clapton moment. Gary Rossington once spent some time with fans of Lynyrd Skynryd after a show and realized there were a lot of racists attracted to the band because of the Confederate Battle Flag (because there's two Confederate flags but racists don't know that). He decided the band wasn't flying that flag anymore. Hulk didn't have a National Geographic, moment where he realizes how his words could hurt people, especially people that looked up to him.

Fuck Hulk Hogan, he hasn't apologized, or even addressed the situation beyond saying he'd let God handle it for him. Did God tell you to say racist things Hulk? Did God tell you it was okay? I don't care if he's in the Boys and Girls Club hall of fame now. Boys and Girls Club has never been available in any of the areas I live so fuck them too. It's like I'm supposed to respect Kid Rock because the NAACP gave him an award. Fuck them too.

Booker T has been giving interviews about how he'd enjoy seeing Hogan back. Well Booker, you should call him up and hang out. You're really letting me down here Booker. I mean, you let HHH call you a happy headed entertainer on live TV. You let Ric Flair call you his bag boy and you still ate the pinball proudly at Wrestlemania. But, The New Day making fun of your "Hulk Hogan we coming for you nigga," moment was too much to handle. Maybe I expect too much of Booker T.

I don't want to see it. I get it, literally everyone is problematic in one way or another. Seth Rollins dated a Nazi, even if he didn't know she was a Nazi, but he's gone out his way to promote things like 13th Film and occasionally tweets out #BlackLivesMatter. Sometimes you're able to put aside someone's problematic ways if they're apologetic about it and try to better themselves. But Hulk hasn't done any of that. Fuck him, I don't ever want to see him again. I don't care how important he was to your childhood. If it's that important to you that Hulk Hogan make a come back, fuck you too.

You should buy Darrell's Book, watch him on the Blerds Online YouTube Channel or The CP Time and Powerbomb Jutsu podcasts.

Hey, I write stuff, a lot of different stuff, that's all.
