Boruto Next Generations Episode 2 Review: Grown Ass Kids

After his two week suspension, Boruto is finally able to attend classes at the Academy which is now more than just for training to become a ninja. Its no surprises that sine there has been over 10 years of peace that now its time to focus on other things such as building trains and making hamburgers.  But no, now the Academy teaches other studies and Ninjutsu.

So besides Shiakadai and Denki, no one really cares for Boruto, or they flat out hate them because they think he's riding the coattails of his father. Inojin, the son of Sai and Ino is kind of an asshole. He purposely provokes Boruto to get a reaction but Boruto is smart enough to not fall for it. I just want to point out that all members of InoshikaCho know each others personality but they don't talk to each other that much. They don't even sit with each other. I know they'll be a team later but as of now its pretty weird. Inojin seems to be oretty cool. I thought he was going to be boring just like his father. Seems he got everything from his Mother.

I also think its funny that Sarada doesn't claim Boruto either. Their parents are friends and that's it. But th main focus of the episode is Iwabe, who has failed at the academy twice. This man is damn near grown as hell still trying to become a ninja. His fight with Boruto lasted longer than I thought. I was assuming Shino would get his shit together and stop them before things got too serious but it was actually Inojin. He became pretty cool in my eyes when he took Iwabe's weapon from him.

Speaking of the fight, Boruto is clearly different from Naruto, and that's a great thing. Even in the age of peace, Boruto clearly wants to be a ninja and hes proving that with prowess. Boruto is going to be a beast when he actually get to mature his powers. I think it's funny that at every chance this anime gets, they show Rock Lee's Son in the background. I hope they have big plans for my guy. Overall I thought it was a good episode and way better than last week's episode. I can't wait for more.
