First Impressions: Bullet Club - Too Sweet EP

Bullet Club is an awesome wrestling group if you ask anyone that knows anything about wrestling. Well, now there's also a music group going by the name of Bullet Club 3017. It's made up of four members; Macegod, Cha$e, Fre$co and Luchini. If you listen to Powerbomb Jutsu you may have heard some music from Luchini in the past as either intros or outros to our shows.

Listening to it on my way to work for the first time it feels like the tape is a little rough audio wise. There are spots where some editing could have been done or vocals get lost for a moment but there's nothing to glaring that will cause the tape to be instantly ejected. There's a lot of wrestling influence on the mixtape as expected so it's not just Bullet Club in name only.

While there's a lot of wrestling references there's still some really funny quotables like "I be texting these hoes, they don't respond but I be texting." That's just really funny and I had to rewind it a couple of times just because it was so funny, and true. So much like real life. Production wise the entire mixtape is handled from within the group so the sound is all them with no outside influences.

It's a short mixtape which means you're not going to have to dedicate a lot of time to listening like Tech N9ne's 32 track album. If you're a wrestling fan you'll want to give it a listen just for the culture.

You can hear Darrell on the CP Time and Powerbomb Jutsu podcasts. He also plays classic arcade games on The Cabinet. You can also check out his playthrough of Sleeping Dogs or Skyrim
