So I was watching NXT and Asuka was boding some local talent. Then I got the idea that since there is no one in NXT that is an actual challenge to her and they are bringing in a former great talent to face her, what if, just what if World Wonder Ring Stardom's multi women faction invaded the main roster and revealed Asuka as their new Leader?
So here's some background on Kana and Oedo Tai. As we all know Asuka was once known by Kana since her 2004 debut in Japan and when she debuted in the American independent scene in 2011. Since joining WWE in 2015 she's continued her hard hitting yet amazing success.
Oedo Tai is a new heel stable in the fairly new Japanese Women's Wrestling promotion, World Wonder Ring Stardom. The stable once consisted of 17 members but Nikki Storm is now known as Nikki Cross in the stable Sanity, in NXT. Some of the more well known wrestlers in the stable are Thunder Rosa (Kobra Moon in Lucha Underground), Star Fire, Heidi Lovelace and now retired Joshi star Act Yasukawa as their manager. OedoTai consist of wrestlers from all over the world and isn't Japanese specific as it only has 4 Japanese members.
So here's where the story starts. Let’s say this takes place after Survivor Series where Sahsa and Becky Lynch are still champions. The next night on Raw in the beginning segment, Sasha comes out to address her match with Charlotte the night before. Everythings going fine until Charlotte comes out, then Bayley comes out as wells as Dana Brooke. Its a typical Raw promo until the lights go out. When the lights come back on Holidead, Thunder Rosa, Star Fire, Kyoko Kimura, and Kris Wolfe are standing around the ring on the ringpost while Act Yasukawa is standing in the ring. After a stare down with Yasukawa and the 4 WWE wrestlers Oedo Tai utterly destroy them.
The next night on Smackdown, Becky Lynch starts the show and addresses what happened in Raw and says that now that it's happened, the Smackdown Women’s Division will be on notice. Later that night Becky is on commentary as there is a Women’s match to figure out the next #1 Contender and everyone is in the match. The match is interrupted when Holidead and Thunder Rosa (Sisters and Tag Partners) show up on the ramp. Everyone stops and as Becky gets into the ring, the other Oedo Tai members jump out of the crowd, into the ring and a brawl happens. Oedo Tai are 2-0 here.
Fast forward to Wednesday. Billie Kay and Peyton Royce are in the ring to talk shit as usual. This time they drag Mickie James for being destroyed by Asuka the previous weekend. Mickie comes out to address them but soon Kyoko Kimura, Kris Wolf, and Star Fire show up to beat them down. The entire time Star Fire just watches as the others go to work. So Wolfe and Kimura prop up James for Star Fire to take her out with a Package Piledriver (one of several signature moves). Asuka comes out to make the save. Wolfe and Kimura exit the ring as Star Fire and Asuka have a staredown before Star Fire leaves as well.
The next Monday Night Raw will be November 28. Stephanie Announces at the start of the show that she will not dish out any punishment to Oedo Tai because their manager Act Yasukawa has negotiated contract matches for them. If Odeo Tai members win their matches tonight they are signed to WWE contracts. Losers have one more chance for a contract if they win Smackdown the next night. So tonight we have Kyoko Kimura vs Charlotte, Kris Wolfe vs Bayley, and Sasha vs Star Fire. Holidead and Thunder Rosa have their shots on Smackdown. Honestly Kyoko Kimura vs Charlotte would be great because of their size and athleticism. Kris Wolfe vs Bayley s going to be fun because both are very loveable and energetic characters. Sorry but Star Fire is going to body Sasha. All Oedo Tai members go over cleanly without any help.
On Smackdown Holidead and Thunder Rosa face off against Becky Lynch and Nikki Bella in a tag team match. This is going to be great because the sisters are insane when in character so expect some good story and wrestling. Holidead and Thunder Rosa win. After the match other Oedo Tai members show up and attack Nikki, Becky, and other roster members when they show up. Daniel Bryan comes out after the beatdown to announce that since the #1 Contender match was canceled last week, Becky Lynch will have to defend her title at TLC in a Ladders match. All members of the Smackdown’s Women’s division are in the match. Since they competed on Smackdown and won their contracts on Smackdown, the only Oedo Tai members on the roster and in the match are Holidead and Thunder Rosa. That Sunday Becky Lynch barely retains the title in a hard fought battle.
The next Raw PPV is Roadblock on December 18. Stephanie announces that Sasha will defend her title at the PPV against the winner of the 6 Pack Gauntlet match tonight. Charlotte starts off the match against Star Fire and the other wrestlers join in every minute. The last two competitors are Charlotte and Kyoko Kimura. Kyoko wins with interference from Oedo Tai. There are more clashes with Oedo Tai on Raw and Smack Leading up to the Roadblock card having Sasha defending against Kyoko Kimura while StarFire and Kris Wolfe vs Charlotte and Bayley. Oedot Tai lose the title match yet they win the tag team match. On Smackdown, Holidead and Thunder Rosa are wreaking havoc. The Women on both Divisions realize that they have to team up, heel or face, to take down Oedo Tai.
This ends part 1. Part 2 will be out next week. I might start doing these more often because they're easy to book instead of a week to week story that goes on forever. I might do the Asian Invasion next, which is different from Oedo Tai Invasion.
