PC Gamers Should Shut Up About Skyrim: Special Edition

What is it with PC gamers? They always have to pull their metaphorical dicks out because they think everything is a dick swinging contest. Yet, it's never a contest. You can talk about the Playstation vs Xbox fanboys but we both hate PC Gamers. PC Gamers could at least cut Xbox fans some slack since they're basically cousins, I mean, most of you are using a Windows PC anyway.

You lot are killing me lately with the complaints about Skyrim's Special Edition. The biggest complaint is that you're complaining about the PS4 limitations on mods. Look, Sony has been hacked a lot and they're not taking any chances, understandable. But, here's the thing, it's still the first game on PS4 that allows modding. This is ground breaking news and you're complaining about restraints on a console you don't even have, that's dumb.

It doesn't matter if you can only use objects already in the games coding. That's okay, because there are some really awesome unique weapons that just plain suck. I'd like to enchant them with some other things. Also, there's already hundreds of modders who have pledged to make content for the PS4. What is wrong with you people? Just let people be happy.

On top of that there are already over a hundred PS4 mods available. There were 27 available day one and 12 hours later that number was 76. 24 hours later it was 127. I wonder what that number would be at if we looked right now. It's not like they're stupid mods either. There's immersion mods that add weather effects to your character, waves and change weather poterns. There's mods for new races, folowers and homes. There's several magic mods, one that adds 350 new spells and another that adds 127 new conjurations.

When you're not complaining about that you're complaining about the size limit being upped to only 5GB on Xbox One. You act like that's not a lot of space for mods, when most don't add anything of that size at all. I mean, who really needs a 10GB mod? That's a whole fucking game. There are full blown games I have downloaded that take less space than that? What are you doing? That's stupid. Again, it's a complaint about a system you don't play on. Why do you need to voice your opinion on it so bad?

I feel like PC Gamers complain so much because it makes people pay attention to them. The rest of the time they just feel a little left out. All their best games eventually end up doing better numbers on consoles. Then, console games don't always make it to PC. Then, when they do, it can be incredibly late. Just look at anything from Take Two, the company that owns Rockstar and 2K Games. That stuff never makes it to PC in a timely fashion. Sometimes when they make it, they're unplayable. You can think Arkham Knight if you want. I've got it, PC Gamers are like The Island of Misfit Toys, but with gamers.

Honestly you have absolutely no reason to be complaining about the Special Edition at all. It's not even for you. The special edition is a graphical update for consoles that also increases stability so there's no 20 minute load screens or slow motion gameplay. This isn't for you. There's a reason why it's free on PC and is compatible with old saves. It's not for you, there is nothing new in it for you. Stop complaining, you get nothing. I do not need you to complain for me.
