There is a Revolution in Wrestling and I love It

Over the last 3 years there has been a clear difference in Wrestling. There has been an amazing  surge in talent. I'm talking new forms of talents like Willie Mack, Brian Cage, Uhaa Nation/Apollo Crews, Lio Rush, Prince Puma/Ricochet and more to name. You have these wrestlers who have perfected their style to a certain degree that they never miss a beat. If you've been following The Young Bucks since they were Generation Me until now, you know their entire move set to the point where you know whats happening next and never get bored. You've got guys like Will Ospreay out there doing all kinds of crazy and fascinating high flying moves that you've most likely never seen before. The rise in wrestler who have already perfected their craft is huge and they are getting their shine.

Women's Wrestling has become more popular. Women like Candice Lerae, Kimber Lee, Mia Yim/Jade have been holding it down and Japanese wrestlers are coming over and sharing that fame. Kana/Asuaka, Hiroyo Matsumoto, and others. Because of them people have been amazed with Women's Wrestling and this has pushed WWE to create better storylines for their female talent. Every Women who has been called up from NXT are getting major respect due to their in ring performance and character. WWE isn't just doing those swimsuit pageants like they used to to keep the male populous entertained. The Women talent are finally able to wrestle without any sexual implications.

More and more people who just watched WWE are now watching ROH, TNA, and NJPW. They are most likely watching other shows but these are the shows that I see more people watching lately. Lucha Underground came in with a force with its amazing and diverse talent as well as the captivating storylines. In terms of wrestling on television, Lucha Underground is the best thing right now. When you're tired of the cliche and predictable WWE brand, you watch other stuff and you turn to Lucha Underground for inspiration into life outside of WWE.

With this being said, it is a great time to be alive if you are a wrestling fan who enjoys all of the products and not just one. The surge in Talent, Women Wrestling, and Captivating Storylines are hitting WWE hard because they are known for putting on the bare minimum with most of the talent who should be mega stars. People don't want the same storylines with the same turn out any more. People are sick of wrestlers who can't wrestle but have a good body which pushed them into the spotlight. No one wants an Eva Marie who can't wrestle or talk on the but her body is smoking hot so she gets by anymore. I will say her head scissors at WrestleMania was pretty good.

The times of John Cena being the only top talent are close to being finally over. I don't hate John Cena but we are all sick of him being the head guy, the guy who is a pretty decent wrestler but nothing spectacular, the guy who alsways wins no matter what. Everyone is tired of this and WWE is trying to make another in Roman Reigns. The fans know this and they don't want it. We are proudly protesting this. I like Roman Reigns but I don't want another guy who isn't the best at the top with shitty storylines.

WWE is faced with all of this at once and it won't happen over night. They finally dropped Divas and went back to Women's Wrestling. NXT is doing great but the main roster is suffering and its obvious. I see WWE changing from its current mediocre ways but they are definitely fighting it because they honestly don't care what the fans have to say on every situation. Other places are focused on good wrestling and money second, WWE are focused on money first and good wrestling last. Should Vince listen to his fans or at least compromise, yes but that doesn't mean he has to word for word from each fan because most fans are dicks. Not every episode or taping of every wrestling event will be good. Some will be bland while others are flat out boring. It isn't just WWE and it can't always be fixed with pushing the talent that deserves it. Seth Rollins has been at the top for 2 years and the rest of the product is still bad. Vince should listen because he is actually losing fans and money. I only watch NXT and some of the big PPV's like Wrestlemania. I haven't watched WWE steadily in almost 3 years and I'm fine.

People complaining about WWE has always been a thing but now I like it because these same fans seek solace in other wrestling companies making them even more money and popular which is great. Things are changing for the better for the most part. Hopefully WWE catches up to the hype of everything else changing them for the better. NXT is great but you got guys who go up and never do anything like Neville and Tyler Breeze. Regardless, I like the direction of the Wrestling scene. This Revolution is for the better.
