As usaul tons of music came out this month. Baek Yerin of 15& and BTS have albums coming out but that's at the very end of the month. You can expect songs from those albums on next months edition. Now lets get into what came out so far.
CL - Hello Bitches
CL finally came back to us as a solo artist after her previous and unlucky release of Doctor Pepper. I know evertone was skeptical because it is the single that is going to be on her amaerican album that should be coming out soon. But besides all the hope and pain, Hello Bitches, is an anthem. Its classica CL with her gorgeuos looks, good lyrics and great rapping skills. She gave us a banger like no other. Even though MTBD is a better song, Hello Bitches is a better dance track. I listen to this song 5 times in one sitting. I can not put it down. Thank you CL for gracing us with an amazing song. The bass is just like I like it,
Truedy - Ruedy Boogie
Winner of Season 2 of Unpretty Rapstar, Truedy gave us a real catchy song. I hinestly don't even know what this song is about. I can't find English lyrices but from the English I can hear Truedy and Tiffany singing, the song is about just having fun. That would explain this relaxed ass beat. Just like Hello Bitches, I can't put this song down. I listen to it to at least 7 times in one sitting. It has this groovy vibe with Truedy's nice flow and Tiffany's relaxed singing. Just like Ikon's Rhythm Ta, I will turn this song (as well as Pride by Truedy) into typical songs at black people functions. There's notbing left for me to say. This song is just amazing.
Brown Eyed Girls - Ice Cream Time
I have never listened to Brown Eyed Girls before besides Kill Bill. Becuase I;ve listened to Ga In's solo work I wanted to see what the group as a whle could especially after all the hype before its release. Ice Cream Time is my favorite song on the album. Its very soothing and very sweet. The lyrics are so cute. This song just touches my heart. I smile everytime I listen to it. BEG did great on this song.
Suran - Calling InLove/Yeah Ah
If you know me then you know I am a huge Suran fan. After hering her work wih Primary and Yankie, not only was I hooked, but I wanted to hear more. Suran finally eased my soul with two beautiful songs that I can not stop listening to. Calling in Love is so soohing and melodic featuring Beenzino. When I listen to it I feel so calm and even though its not a sad song, I cry. Its just too beautiful. Yeah Ah featurng Yankie is something else. It has this ethereal aura. The priduction is amazing and her vocals are so on point. I just had to include these songs on the list, And if you don't know who Suran is check out this link.
Jiyoon - This Aint Me
Jiyyon of 4Minute being on Unpretty Rapstar has to be one of the most weirdest things to happen this year. She struggled to find her ground the entire show but it finally paid off in the end. Her final performance of the show gave us a great song. This Aint Me featuring Ilhoon of BTOB is amazing. One of my favorite songs from this season. The song is about her going through an Identify crisis whule on the show. The song featires strong rapping from both Jiyoon and Ilhoon. The beat is catchy and amazing. This is Jiyoon at her best, the Jiyoon I know, the Jiyoon that should have been there since the begining.
Shirosky - Tie Dye
I came across Shirosky by mistake and I was not ready. She is a producer who just released her album La Lecture which is amazing. One of the songs is Tie Dye featuring Manju of Manju Pocket. This is my favorite song n the album. Its a fusion (like the rest of the album) of jazz and HipHop. The beat has a cool vibe that you can just dance to alongside the beautiful voice of Manju. The song needs to speak for itself so here is the music video.
Purfles - Bad Girl
Purfles released a new song this month called Bad Girl. The song is a catchy dance track that has me dancing and shaking nonstop. The girls vocals are not highlighted like previous singles but they sure do ring in your ears.Wooyoung's rap is my favorite part of the song. I forgot she could rap and she definitely killed it. A Bad Thing is surely their best song yet but Bad Girl is the catchiest.
Verbal Jint - Rewind
My favortie rapper released the first part of Go Hard his month. My favorite song from the album is Rewind. I haven't read the lyrics but the beat is laid back and hos flow is stunning.I can only guess from the title and the words that I do know that he's talking about his music career up to this point. Go Hard is a great album and I can't wait for the second part.
Jooheon - Flower Cafe
Jooheon has given us an amazing song for the season. It features Samuel Ock and IM. The song is beautiful speaking of a nice and place having coffee and playing with flowers with the girl you love. The lyrics are so good. IM's flow was mad sick. I applaud them for releasing this great track.
Seulong - Melatonin
Seulong released a new song and I am loving it. Melatonin is his new single with the B side track Witcher which is also great. I've yet to find the lyrics to it but the melody and his voice are amazing as always. The beat is reminiscent of a The Weekend vibe. Melatonin is a fantastic song that needs some shine.
