Miss A - Colors Mini Album Review

Miss A made their return this year after going on a long year hiatus in 2014. I knew this album was coming because you could just feel it. Miss A was one of the few groups that didn't make a comeback last year after an album the year before that. I'm actually glad they didn't make a comeback last year.

Everyone wanted a Miss A comeback and it happened. But not only did they come back but they came back with a mission. A mission to slay our hearts and the music charts. The single of the album Only You was able to get an all kill by being number 1 on multiple music charts. The song Only You is a good song. Its a nice song that can get you pumped up in a jiffy. I can't really say much for it because its not the best song on the album. The other songs are just much better. The music video was good though.

Being a mini album, there are only 6 songs. At first glance I thought that maybe that wasn't enough but once I listened, I realized I was dead wrong. There may only be 6 songs but all of them are pretty powerful. Everything put into them expresses the theme of the album. Unlike the rest of their releases, Miss A was able to show their true colors with this album. All of Miss A's best songs were songs that were able to make you feel happy no matter what. Then they had songs that were much slower like ballads that were able to make you feel sad but also enlightened as well. These songs are what makes Colors. This album is based upon what makes up Miss A.

This album has great production as well. All of the songs might not be the same but they find a way to blend into each other perfectly. Miss A added some flavor and bass to their music. I love this added touch because it brings out their true voices. It also makes the music lean toward R&B instead of pop. This was a great touch for this album.

Since this is a mini album I will use the 5 star scale. This album gets a 4/5 from me. I truly think this is their best album yet and I hope we see more of this Miss A because they are shining perfectly right now.  This is the best album by a female group so far but we still have that EXID album coming so things could change. My favorite song is between Melting and Love Song by the way.
