This soundcloud bio description basically sums up his style of music, but I'll go into detail about this project itself.
This LP is exactly what is promises, mellow music. There are many smooth musical ideas put together with some samples that sound simply delightful. TGDJ packages these so well, it feels like an injustice to just hear one track. This is a full cohesive bundle of songs that interconnect with each other so well, you might think there is just one long track playing. You'll get reminiscent feels from early ages of 70s and 80s soul thrown in with the bouncy bass lines and the hard hitting acoustic drums from 90s rap. I truly commend the artist's ability to combine so many different sounds and samples and make them feel like they belong with each other and shouldn't have been samples at all. It sounds as if this LP was the origins of the sounds. So without further ado, I present the Mellow Music LP.
