Cyrax
A superhero is defined as "A benevolent fictional character with extraordinary abilities or superhuman powers fighting against evil." That opens the doors for our firstYellow Black Superhero of the year. If you know Mortal Kombat you know Cyrax the yellow robot once known as the dreadhead wonder.
Cyrax started life as a ninja from the Lin Kuei clan alongside the likes of Sub Zero, Sektor and Smoke. The Lin Kuei wanted to convert their warriors into cybernetic ninjas. Sub Zero alerted the others and fled. Cyrax also attempted to flee but was captured by already robotic versions of Sektor and Smoke. He was transformed into a robotic ninja like the others and lost his free will because he wouldn't obey.
This led to Cyrax joining the others in hunting down Sub Zero. However, Sub Zero reprogrammed Cyrax to hunt Shao Khan. However when he finally reached Khan the battle was over. Since he was still a robot he simply wandered the desert without motive until he became trapped in quicksand. Sadly he was recovered by the Lin Keui who once again reprogrammed him and sent him into to battles with Smoke and Sektor.
Some time later Cyrax began to have flashbacks of when he was human but still couldn't access his free will. He was basically trapped in his head watching his body commit acts he didn't approve of. That's a sad existence, but he kept trying to break free with no success. After Shinnok was defeated Jax and Sonya took him back to their military base. There they were able to unlock his mind. Now free some of the robotic parts were removed turning him into a cyborg instead of a robot. He stated that although he still had robotic parts he had finally regained his humanity. Indebted to Sonya and Jax he joined their team and quickly became one of the top agents in OIA.

- Energy Net - After making a few adjustments via the control panel on his arm, Cyrax launches a powerful net that passes straight through his opponent, effectively dicing the victim into tiny pieces.
- Buzzsaw - Cyrax extends a spinning blade from his right hand and slashes violently at his opponent, then kicks them in the chest scattering the torso, head and arms all over the room.
