As you know I've been watching a lot of Indie wrestling lately and I love it. Last week I did a post on Indie Wrestlers who should be on NXT who were males. This week I'm doing Females. Now I know what you're thinking " Female wrestling sucks". I have found 5 females who would beg to differ on if they can wrestle or not. Now Lets see what the bring to the table.
Kana
Kana is from Japan and is a very established female wrestler. She has wrestled in Japan and America. Most Notably Shimmer Wrestling and Smash(Japan). Kana has had some of the greatest female matched in the world and I have seen. She knows what she is doing in the ring and can teach the NXT females how to do some hardcore wrestling. Now watch Kana beat the hell out of Ayumi Kurihara here.
Candice Lerae
Candice is probably the most hardcore female I know because she is one half of the Worlds Cutes Tag Team with Joey Ryan. They face nothing but male competitors. Besides being Hardcore Candice is an exceptional good wrestler who puts on 5 star matches. She would be the Dean Ambrose of females if she was in NXT. Now watch her and Joey vs The Young Bucks here.
Hailey Hatred
If you haven't noticed, there are no big females in WWE right now. Hailey Hatred would be perfect for this spot. She may be bigger than the other females but don't let her size fool you. She can get around the ring just as easily as AJ can. And on top of that she can be a great power house. Her durability is outstanding. She deserves all of those Championships she is holding. She was also once in a Tag Team with Current TNA Knockouts Champion Jessicka Havock. If you think she is all smoke from me just talking thatn watch her match against Ayumi Kurihara here.
Athena
Here we have the beautiful Goddess Athena. She is amazing in the ring. Her arsenal of moves keeps you on your feet. She reminds me of a female Kofi Kingston. I used to give that title to Naomi but she sucks now. Athena is much more deserving of this little title. She has such spunk once she gets in the ring and she is a joy to watch. She was also trained by Booker T. Watch her most heated feud in Shimmer Wrestling against Mercedes Martinez here
Honorable Mention: Ayumi Kurihara
Ayumi Kurihara is an honorable mention because she retired from wrestling last year of April. I decided to put her on the list because she is no doubt my favorite Japanese Female wrestler and on of my favorite female wrestlers of all time. She is amazing in the ring. The fire that keeps her going never lets out and she continues to fight day in and out. You saw her vs Hatred and Kana. You know what she can do in the ring. If she was in NXT or even as a trainer she could make it even better. I love the Females of NXT. They are way better than the main roster but with Sara Del Rey and Ayumi Kurihara as trainers, they would no doubt be better than the males. You've seen two matches but let me show you one more match against Mayumi Ozaki in a barbed wire death match. Yes I said barbed wire death match and you can watch it here.
It would be amazing if we could have these females in NXT. They would be a great asset and I promise as long as WWE does them right, NXT would be headlining PPV with the main roster. The same goes for the Men I mentioned last time. Out of all the females I would really love to see Athena on the roster. That would be really cool. Well until that happens I will still be watching Indie wrestling and sipping some coffee.
