Boruto: Next Generations Episode 1 Review:

The episode starts out with a battle between an older Boruto and Kawaki. In this distant future Kawaki has leveled the Leaf Village and has supposedly killed Naruto. Before Kawaki and Boruto continues to fight, we are directed back into the present day. Boruto and Shikadai catch a train to get some burgers. Just how advanced has Naruto become in the past 10 years? They have trains now and also burgers. We can see off bat that Naruto and Boruto have strife. Whenever someone mentions Naruto around Boruto, he gets mad. I did not spend 15 years off my life watching Naruto struggle just so his child could disrespect him.

I do understand where Boruto is coming from. Not being able to see your parent that everyone else loves is a hard pill to swallow. Hopefully things get better between the two. After saving some poor sap, Boruto tells him to get stronger and "Teach em a lesson". This new character gonna piss me off. Or at lest that was what I thought until he got bit by Orochimaru and tried to kill the kids that was bullying him.  But then Orochimaru left his body and he went back to his normal self. I can't win here.

I'm still trying to cope with Anko being fat now. This just doesn't process well in my mind. Overall I thought this was a pretty decent episode. It was enjoyable for the most part but nothing special. I want this show to be funny. I want to have nothing but laughs and then things can turn for the worse with action cause Naruto never let down with the fights. I may not be reviewing more episodes of Boruto but I'll definitely be watching.
