Let's do a list. Like always list are based on the creators favorites so you may disagree. Anyway, I was sitting here thinking about how crazy it is that Jim Johnston has been making themes for WWE 1985-2014 and only stopped because he got bored and wanted to do movie soundtracks. What are some of the best WWE Themes (Because as much as I love TNA their themes aren't great). A theme is an important part of a gimmick. It's the theme that is usually the first sign of a wrestler appearing. It's crazy that Johnston has sold over 10 million records and all he makes is wrestling themes. That speaks to the quality of them. I got to thinking about the themes I enjoyed most. These are the 25 I came up with. They're numbered but there's no real order of best to worst. Just the order I thought of them in. Without further blabbering I bring you 25 of the best WWE Themes. (I only picked songs Johnston produced or wrote so no Bray Wyatt, CM Punk, Chris Jericho etc.)25. Bobby Lashley - Hell Will Be Calling
24. The Miz - I Came To Play
23. Ezekiel Jackson - Domination
22. Teddy Long - MacMillitant
21. Drew McIntyre - Broken Dreams
20. D-Generation-X - Are You Ready
19. Randy Orton - Voices
18. Big E. Langston - I Need Five
17. Zack Ryder - Radio
16. Triple H - The Game
15. Triple H - King of Kings
14. Dolph Ziggler - Here To Show The World
13. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin - I Won't Do What You Tell Me
12. Mick Foley - Wreck
11. Vince McMahon - No Chance In Hell
10. Evolution - Line In The Sand
09. The Rock - It's Conquered
08. Victoria - Don't Mess With
07. Booker T - Rap Sheet
06. Kurt Angle - Medal (Remix)
05. David Otunga - All About The Power
04. Stephanie McMahon - All Grown Up
03. Chris Jericho - Break The Walls Down
02. MVP - I'm Comin
01. Eddie Guerrero - Can You Feel The Heat
So that's it. It's ridiculous how much Johnston has had his hands in. He's written, performed, produced almost every theme for a ridiculous amount of time. He's worked with everyone from Naughty By Nature to Motorhead to Nicki Minaj to Saliva. That's a legacy. The biggest part may have been getting Silk Da Shocker to stay on beat.
You can hear Darrell on the CP Time and Powerbomb Jutsu podcasts. He also plays classic arcade games on The Cabinet
