Top 5 Of The Worst Female Wrestlers I’ve Ever Seen

Over the past two decades as a wrestling fan I’ve seen some of the most talented performers to have ever stepped in the ring from Jazz to Kiera Hogan. I’ve even seen some of the absolutely awful female performers from Torrie Wilson to Stacy Kiebler.

Here are the top 5 worst female wrestlers I’ve ever seen.

1. Nia Jax - I personally can’t stand Nia Jax because she’s absolutely garbage in the ring and on the mic. She often botches in the ring and cuts extremely cringeworthy promos. She’s also made notorious botches that have actually sidelined fellow female performers such as badly botching a shoulderbreaker last year that had Charlotte’s head being piledrived on the mat nearly breaking her neck and even failing to catch Charlotte’s moonsault that had her face land hard on the outside. I bet Charlotte’s was absolutely glad to get away from Raw because of how dangerous Nia is in the ring. Nia’s even hurt a couple of other women on the main roster recently by doing a gorilla press against Zelina Vega at the recent Evolution PPV that saw Zelina land hard on the outside giving her a concussion that kept her off TV for two weeks and stiflingly punching Becky Lynch during Smackdown’s invasion of Raw ruining the actual main event of the recent Survivor Series between her and Ronda Rousey. She is one of the many women that WWE hired not only because of her family ties, but also mainly her looks.

2. Eva Marie - Eva Marie is another one of those women that WWE hired solely based on their looks and it was quite evident because of her gimmick being someone who didn’t want to wrestle at all. Her in-ring ability and mic skills were an absolute abomination when I saw a video on YouTube called “Eva Marie botches” in which she was also notorious for having her fare share of botches in the ring, but unlike fellow garbage female performer in Nia Jax, Eva Marie didn’t actually injure anyone. One of the biggest botches she made was when she was doing a backstage promo on Smackdown a few years ago that was clearly scripted in which she couldn’t even insult the opponent that she was feuding with at the time in Summer Rae by calling her “a piece of dog poop” which was one of the worst promos from any wrestler that I’ve ever seen.

3. Christy Hemme -I remember seeing Christy Hemme compete and later winning The 2004 Divas Search once again being another woman hired solely on her looks. I remember seeing her matches back in the day and they were an absolute abomination as her in-ring career in WWE never reached its full potential as most of her matches in WWE from what I remember were the gimmicky and controversial “bra and panties” matches. She was drafted to Smackdown, but was relegated back down to the WWE developmental territory OVW aka Ohio Valley Wrestling which is one of the biggest falls from grace of any female wrestler that I’ve ever seen.

4. Alexa Bliss - I will admit as good as Alexa is on the mic, but her in ring skills are also an abomination because in her matches this year alone, she has hasn’t really done too many moves and this was clearly evident in her match against Ronda Rousey at this year’s Summerslam where she was beaten in a glorified squash. Her in-ring skills will never even come close to the likes of very talented female performers such as Asuka, Ember Moon, and Sasha Banks. She was also hired by WWE solely because of her looks and not in-ring ability.
5. Ashley Massaro - I remember seeing Ashley Massaro back in the mid-2000s during my final years of watching WWE entirely. He was another contestant that later won The 2005 Diva Search. The company actually tried to force and shove Ashley Massaro down the fans throat and the fans immediately rebelled against the push that the WWE were giving Ashley. Watching her matches back in the day we’re an absolute abomination as there was absolute botches and sloppiness coming from her in the ring.

Honorable Mentions: Sable, Torrie Wilson, Stacy Kiebler, Kelly Kelly, Carmella, The Kat, Tori, Major Gunn’s, The Bellas, and Ronda Rousey.

The Conclusion - Just because some women want to be wrestlers doesn’t mean that they’ll be as good as very talented female performers who are miles ahead of them in terms of in-ring experience.
