Chapters 290-299
"Fuuko is in the middle of a fucking fight to death yet she's trying to make jokes with a fucking fluffball. Bro I fucking hate this series"
This is the first thing I though of when I saw Fuuko trying to have a full conversation in the middle of a fight to the death. I don't why but the less there is of this series the more I get pissed off at teh characters. Its weird because Fuuko is my favorite character. WE can never have a full serious chapter with the main cast. Fuuko and Raiha have a fight tot he death which has been hyped up this entire series only for Raiha to live. The fight was boring of course because the name of the series is Flame of Recca. It was cool to find out that Raiha is a direct descendant of the Hokage. I never noticed it but he does look exactly like a Hokage ninja.
The volume actually starts with Kirin fighting Kagero. Kirin has the brightest of all ideas. If she can kill an immortal person, a person she knows is immortal, she can stop Rasen from using his madogu powers to Erase the curse keeping Kagero immortal. Brightest idea of all time. Of course she fails and Rasen decides to do his magic. His madogu breaks but it cures Kagero at the same time which saves Rasen or anyone related to him from being erased. I don't care about either of these characters so why couldn't Rasen have died? Rasen has no effect on this story going forward or wen he first debuted. He's boring so he should have just died. Once again, nothing has consequences.
Ending the volume with a cliffhanger, Tokiya meets Megumi Kyouza who tells him straight up, "I killed your sister" The fight is going smoothly but never increases pass as the backstory is going on at the same time. I've been waiting all this time for this fight. I hope to god this is amazing. This volume was pretty cool though. The artwork was fine and the story progressed a lot. We didn't see all of the characters so we got time for others. More Kagero is a great thing. Solid volume and I'm hoping this Tokiya and Megumi fight is amazing because if not I'll have to kill myself
