Zero Kara Hajimeru no Sho Episode 1 Review: Share Your Soup

In this World, Humans fight against the Witches and the Witches fight among the Beastfallen. The beastfallen are humans that were turned into beast hundreds of years ago by the Witches to aid them in a fight.. Its is estimated that over 1 million Beastfallen were created. Through the years they have been born from humans at times. One of the main characters was once human but was turned into a Beastfallen after his birth. We don't know his name yet but he goes by Mercenary. The other main character is Zero, a Witch who is searching for the Magic book she created Grimoire of Zero because it holds the secrets to ending the world. After finding one another they decide to tram up with Mercenary protecting Zero, and Zero will restore Mercenary back to a Human once the mission is over.

I like this anime. We didn't get any action this episode besides some flashbacks but even there wasn't much shown. The animation in those scenes were nice. I love they way the Magic was animated. The bright colors throughout the anime in total was pretty cool. Mercenary and Zero have a cool chemistry between them. Its not generic nor is it forced, it just kind of works between the two. The story isn't as hard to follow as I thought it would and not much was given away in this episode but what we were given was enough for me to be invested into the story. Its quiet easy to get behind Mercenary with his past and the fact that he just wants to live as a normal human again.

I enjoyed this first episode and will watching for more. I may not review it from this point forward but I will be watching. This may be the best anime this season because they have prostitutes with big breast. I'm just kidding but I'm pretty sure she would have had sex with Mercenary if he had the right money.
